Riff Calendar
Read full descriptionHide full description
Riff is one continuous calendar that you zoom. Pinch out and the weeks stack up until half a year is on screen. Pinch in and a single day opens, hour by hour. There are no separate month, week and day views to switch between. EVERY STOP OF THE ZOOM IS A WORKING CALENDAR Zoom out to find a free weekend. Zoom in to pick the hour. Three weeks for a trip, three days for a long weekend, one day for a dinner. The day you were looking at stays on screen the whole way. PLACE IT, TITLE IT, DONE Hold a free slot and an event appears there. Type the title and you are done. Type a title you have used before and Riff fills in the place and alert from last time. Otherwise the title is all Riff asks for. THE CALENDAR STAYS OPEN WHILE YOU EDIT Select an event and its details open beneath the calendar, with the days around it still in view. A new time is set on the calendar, not in a form. Slide the event to its new hour, or carry it to another day or week and drop it there. THE CALENDAR ITSELF, AS A WIDGET Riff comes with three kinds of Home Screen widgets. The first is the calendar itself, from one day to two whole weeks, with every event drawn at its hour and its length. The second draws five weeks at once. The third, Up next, lists what is coming. Lock Screen widgets are included. REMINDERS BESIDE YOUR EVENTS Reminders with a due date stand on the calendar beside your events. Create, move and complete them in Riff. YOUR CALENDARS, NOT COPIES OF THEM Riff works directly on the calendars already on your iPhone: iCloud, Google, Exchange, whatever Apple Calendar sees. There is no Riff account and nothing to import. Events you create or move in Riff show up everywhere else. Delete the app and your data has not gone anywhere. DATA COLLECTED: NONE Riff has no server, no account and no analytics. Your events pass between Apple's calendar database and your screen. ALSO IN RIFF β’ Alerts, repeats, places, links and notes β’ Search across all your calendars β’ Time zones handled when you travel β’ Siri and Shortcuts: add an event, go to a date β’ Control Center controls β’ Light and dark β’ 32 languages GOOD TO KNOW Riff is for iPhone and needs iOS 26 or later. There is no iPad, Mac or Apple Watch app. You can answer invitations in Riff but not send them. To invite someone, create the event in Apple Calendar and it shows up in Riff. This is Riff as it stands today. Feedback shapes what gets built next. PRICE Riff is free for three weeks with everything included. No account and no payment detail is asked for. After that you choose a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Every option unlocks all of Riff and can be shared through Family Sharing. The prices for your country are listed under In-App Purchases on this page. Monthly and Yearly renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Organize plans, ideas, and everyday records by date. SteadyMemo is an app for writing and organizing memos by date. Choose a day on the calendar, add a memo, and find it easily whenever you need it. You can write, search, and organize memos without creating an account or connecting to the internet. Automatic backups require iCloud Drive. Backup files are saved in the SteadyMemo/Backups folder in iCloud Drive. Saving a backup does not automatically restore memos in the app on another device. You can restore memos by loading a backup file saved automatically or manually. The app does not add its own encryption to backup files, so keep them in a secure location that other people cannot access. Reminder settings are included, but only reminders scheduled for a future time are restored. Scheduled reminders require notification permission on your iPhone.
