Florilegio
Read full descriptionHide full description
Florilegio is a pressed-flower book for your pocket โ a little zine of leaves where every flower you find on a walk gets pressed, named, and kept. THE RITUAL Photograph a bloom and it goes under the press: laid on the sheet, traced, freed from its background, sealed with a white die-cut edge. Then YOU hold the press down and feel the whole phone thump. At the end, you christen the flower in your own hand. A REAL BOOK Your garden is a paper book โ bone paper, two riso inks, washi tape, a visible fold. Stickers can be dragged, tossed, and rearranged while a flower cures; after 48 hours under the press, its name and place set like ink. Field notes stay open forever. FLORA, ON DEVICE Download the optional field guide and Florilegio names each bloom as you press it โ 7,806 species, with the common name in your language. Identification runs entirely on your phone. Nothing ever leaves it. GIFTS The best part: gift a flower. Send one to a friend and it appears in THEIR garden โ the real picture, the name, the species, a line written in your hand. AND THE REST โ A numbered index of every specimen, like a hand-kept herbarium โ Postcards with a wax seal, ready to share โ The exact finding spot, kept as four little words, opening in your favourite maps app โ iMessage stickers of your pressed flowers โ 32 languages, right-to-left included โ Backups in a single .flor file you own FREE, LIKE FLOWERS No subscriptions, no coins, nothing to unlock. The price is a walk: a park, a roadside, a hill in spring. Go out, look down, find one bloom worth keeping โ and bring it home.
