MarkDown Reader is a free, lightweight viewer for Markdown files. Double-click any .md file and read it beautifully rendered โ no editor chrome, no distractions, just your document. It also turns a checklist into somewhere to work. Tick a task and the change is written straight back to the file, one character, instantly. Add a note to any item and it is saved as an ordinary indented bullet, so every other Markdown tool still reads it. On the Mac, drag a file onto an item to attach it, and click the chip to open it again later. Nothing is locked in a database. Everything this app writes is plain Markdown you can read in any editor. - Clean rendering of headings, tables, code blocks, and images - LaTeX math, typeset offline: $โฆ$ inline and $$โฆ$$ display - Interactive task lists: click a checkbox and the .md file updates instantly - Notes on any checklist item, saved as plain Markdown - Attach files to checklist items by dragging them in (macOS) - Clickable file references: a path in a code span opens in your editor (macOS) - Table of contents sidebar for long documents - Full-text search with match navigation - Live reload โ edit the file elsewhere and the view keeps up - Zoom, print, and export to PDF - Light or Dark on your terms: follow the system, or pin the reader to either (macOS) - Copy the document's path or reveal it in the Finder (macOS) - Opens .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkd, and .mkdn files - Sandboxed and private: no accounts, no analytics, no data collection

Corteks is where you put a thought so you can stop holding it. Speak it, type it, or snap a photo. That is the whole job. Corteks reads what you captured, titles it, files it, and connects it to everything you have thought before. WHAT IT DOES WITH YOUR THINKING Reads every capture. A title, a one-line summary, what it is about, and the older thoughts it genuinely connects to. You never file anything yourself. Builds a graph, not a folder tree. Your thoughts cluster by what they are actually about, and you start seeing that you have been circling something for weeks. Writes your week, every Sunday. Not a step count. What you thought about, what changed, and what you keep returning to. Answers questions about your own mind. Chat is grounded in what you captured, so it points at your own words instead of inventing advice. Holds what you are working toward. Write down your objectives, focus three at a time, and Corteks reads those three closely. Three, because attention does not divide well. WHAT IT IS NOT No feed. No streaks. No badges. Nothing is public and nothing is shared, so there is nobody to perform for. It never tells you that you are behind. An objective that has gone quiet is reported as a fact, never as a failing. YOUR THOUGHTS ARE YOURS Everything is private to your account. It is used to build what the app shows you and nothing else: your graph, your readings, your weekly story, and the answers you get in chat. Export everything to your email whenever you like, in a readable file and as JSON. Delete your account and it all goes with it. CORTEKS PRO Start with a free trial. No card, and nothing is charged when you sign up. Pro covers capturing without limits, having every capture read and connected, your weekly reading, readings on your three focused objectives, and chat. After the trial, everything you already captured stays readable forever. Browsing, search, the graph, past readings and export never stop working. Corteks Pro is $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Terms: https://corteks.app/terms Privacy: https://corteks.app/privacy-policy
