SpeedRead trains you to read faster using the RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) technique. Words appear one at a time in a fixed spot, so your eyes stop darting across the page. Build your speed gradually with customizable settings. Features: - Word-by-word RSVP display - Speed range: 50-1000 WPM - Focus mode: show 1, 2 or 3 words at a time for space-separated text such as English (the speed counts one display as one, so showing 2 or 3 words gives more words per minute than the set speed) - Japanese and Chinese text is shown in fixed 4-character chunks, and its speed is set in characters per minute (100-1800 CPM) - Optional pauses at punctuation for easier comprehension - White, dark and sepia themes with adjustable font size - Reading statistics, session history and progress tracking - Daily reading streak to keep you practising - Add your own texts or paste articles and book excerpts - Reading level and estimated reading time for the built-in sample texts, an on-screen progress percentage while reading, and unfinished sessions marked in History FREE VERSION AND FULL ACCESS The free version displays banner ads. A one-time Full Access purchase unlocks every feature and removes ads. Customers who previously bought the paid app also continue without ads. The free version includes up to 3 saved texts and up to 14 sessions in History. Analytics charts and CSV export require Full Access. About

Lampo Reader

Features

Lampo Reader is a fast and focused reading app that lets you view one or more words at a time, reducing the need to constantly move your gaze along the lines. Start with the speed that you find most comfortable and gradually increase the pace as you exercise. READ YOUR CONTENT β€’ TXT texts β€’ PDF documents with selectable text β€’ Web pages via the integrated browser β€’ Text entered or pasted directly into the app TWO WAYS TO READ With the Standard mode you can focus on one or more words at a time. The Line mode instead keeps more words visible at the same time, highlighting the central one to help you keep your reading point and have more context. You can choose to display 1 to 12 words at a time and adjust the speed from 60 to 1200 words per minute. TRAIN AT YOUR OWN PACE It is not necessary to leave quickly. Initially find a comfortable speed, get familiar with the method and gradually increase the pace. While reading, you can pause, go back or forward, change speed, and move freely within the text. A READING THAT SUITS YOU Customize the experience by choosing: β€’ Text size β€’ Spacing β€’ Number of words displayed β€’ Standard mode or Line β€’ Several high readability themes β€’ Enhanced visibility mode Atkinson Hyperlegible and OpenDyslexic are also available, in addition to the system fonts and Verdana. You can choose between the themes Card, Night, Sepia, Contrast and Mint to find the combination that is most suitable for your preferences and the environment in which you are reading. WEB PROTECTION FOR THE YOUNGEST Lampo Reader includes optional PIN protection. When activated, you can block access to search, browser and web content import, leaving the text entered in the app and local TXT and PDF documents available. The function works within Lampo Reader and can be used together with the device’s parental control tools. SIMPLE AND PRIVATE Lampo Reader does not require you to create an account.
