Learn Python from your first line of code to building real applications: 168 courses and 4,020 lessons covering the entire language, plus 12,105 practice questions to prove you actually learned it. No prior programming experience needed. Every concept starts from zero and builds up with worked code examples you can read, understand and reuse. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Python Fundamentals β syntax, variables, data types, operators, conditionals, loops, functions, scope, and error and exception handling. Data Structures β lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets, comprehensions, slicing, and the built in methods you will use every day. Object Oriented Programming β classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, magic methods, and when object oriented design is the right choice. Files and Data β reading and writing files, CSV and JSON handling, regular expressions, dates and times. Web Development β Django, Flask and FastAPI, requests, routing, templates, and web scraping with BeautifulSoup and Requests. Data Science and Machine Learning β NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and an introduction to scikit learn, TensorFlow and Keras. Advanced Python β decorators, generators, iterators, context managers, lambda functions, threading, multiprocessing and asynchronous programming. Specialised Topics β Tkinter for desktop interfaces, SciPy, automation scripting, cryptography basics and API integration. 12,105 PRACTICE QUESTIONS Every one of the 168 courses has its own question bank, roughly three questions per chapter. Sessions are ten questions, four options each. Three timed difficulty levels: beginner 30 seconds per question, intermediate 20, expert 10. A session runs 5:00, 3:20 or 1:40. Pass at 70%. Filter by level, by attempted or untried, and by your best score, so practice goes where you are actually weak. Every attempt is saved permanently, so you can watch a topic go from 40% to 90%. PYTHON INTERVIEW PREPARATION 25 roles with 100 questions each β 2,500 in total β covering junior, mid, senior and staff Python, backend, Django, Flask and FastAPI, data engineering, data science, machine learning, MLOps, NLP, computer vision, QA automation, DevOps, SRE, application security, fintech, embedded and IoT, game tools, quant, cloud, full stack and RPA. Timed, scored and saved like every other session, so you can practise a role and come back to beat your own result. LEARN OFFLINE Download any course for offline reading. Lesson text is stored on the device and stays readable with no connection; images still need network. Anything you open is cached automatically. The Downloads manager lets you remove a course in one tap. PROGRESS, STREAKS AND CERTIFICATES Mark lessons complete and watch the completion percentage climb on every course. The Continue card returns you to the exact lesson you left. A daily reading streak counts every day you study, with an optional reminder that is off by default. Finish every lesson in a course and pass its quiz at 70% or above to unlock a certificate you can share as an image. BUILT FOR LEARNING ON A PHONE Short lessons you can finish in a commute or a lunch break. Code you can actually read β syntax highlighted, horizontally scrollable, copyable in one tap. Full text search across all 168 courses. Bookmarks and history. Light, dark and system themes, an in-reader toggle, adjustable font size, navigation placement options and proper tablet layouts. No account required to start. WHO IT IS FOR Complete beginners writing their first program. Students who want a clearer second explanation. Self taught developers building toward a first job. Professionals using Python for data analysis or automation. Candidates preparing for Python interviews. Developers coming from another language. Open the app, read one lesson, answer ten questions. Python Starter is a coding and learning environment for people who want to learn Python by writing and running real code. Start with the basics, then explore data processing, databases, scientific computing, and HTTP server development. Write Python programs, provide input, and view output and exception tracebacks on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app includes CPython 3.14 and runs your code locally on your device, without requiring you to set up a development environment. The free Python Basics course includes 20 lessons covering variables, conditions, loops, functions, strings, lists, dictionaries, the standard library, and exception handling, with practical exercises that bring these concepts together. Learning Pro adds courses covering: - Python Data Processing and the Standard Library - Python Files and Project Organization - Python Object-Oriented Programming - SQLite Database Applications - Introduction to Scientific Computing with NumPy - Python HTTP and Server Development Courses are available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. Each lesson focuses on clear learning points, with explanations, examples and their input/output, editable exercises, and reference solutions. Exercise checks run locally and show test input, actual output, and check results in the console to help you understand and improve your code. The HTTP course uses Requests and Flask to connect client requests with server endpoints. Edit client and server code, run the server independently, and check client output against a local server started by the checker. Exercises focused on one side provide read-only code for the other, so you can concentrate on the current topic. The coding workspace lets you: - Create and edit multi-file Python projects - Run code locally on your device - Prepare standard input or enter input while a program waits - View output, errors, and exception tracebacks - Stop running programs - Save your code automatically - Browse built-in API quick references and examples for Python, NumPy, Requests, and Flask - Manage multiple projects with IDE Pro, including duplication, renaming, deletion, and recovery No account is required, and project code is stored on your device. Code execution does not depend on developer servers. The app does not provide cloud sync or cloud backup. When your code makes network requests, the request data is sent to the servers specified by your code. Python Starter includes one editable local project for free. IDE Pro is an optional one-time purchase that enables multiple local projects and complete project management features. Learning Pro is purchased separately from IDE Pro. Choose 1, 3, or 12 months of access to all paid courses available in your region. Learning Pro does not renew automatically. The app bundles Pythonβs standard library and libraries including NumPy, Requests, and Flask, with no additional installation required. Python Starter does not provide pip installation or guarantee compatibility with arbitrary third-party native extensions or production projects. From your first script to multi-file programs, and from data processing to HTTP endpoints, Python Starter helps you build your Python skills through practice.
