Tired of backgammon apps that push coins, timers and endless online matchmaking? Gammonix is a clean, modern backgammon board you play offline against a smart AI or a friend on the same phone. No accounts, no coins, no pressure - just dice and strategy. It is the classic tables game, redesigned to open in a second, look beautiful and respect your time, whether you have five minutes or a full evening. Every other free backgammon game wants you online, watching ads between coin timers and waiting on strangers to move. You just want to roll the dice, plan your play and get better at the game. Gammonix strips it back to the pure tabletop experience: open it and play backgammon offline against the computer in seconds, or pass the phone to a friend for a face-to-face match. It loads instantly, remembers your game exactly where you left it, and never asks you to sign in or wait your turn behind a stranger. PLAY YOUR WAY - Beat a smart heuristic AI on three levels, from Beginner to Expert, that adapts to how you play. - Pass and play local 2-player backgammon on one device, handing the phone back and forth face to face. - Choose a quick single game or full match play to 1, 3, 5 or 7 points. REAL BACKGAMMON RULES - Raise the stakes with the doubling cube for genuine match tension. - Win double with gammons and triple with backgammons, exactly like over-the-board play. - Read the race at a glance with a built-in pip counter, so you always know who is ahead. MATCH PLAY AND THE DOUBLING CUBE - Learn the doubling cube the natural way, by feeling when to double, when to take and when to drop. - Play proper matches with the Crawford rule, so the cube decisions matter right down to the last point. - Track the match score point by point and turn a single game into a real test of nerve and strategy. LEARN AS YOU PLAY - COACH MODE - Turn on Coach and the board highlights the strongest move, so you improve every single game. - Get an accuracy rating after each match that shows how close your moves were to the best line. - Pick up real backgammon strategy - priming, hitting, running and bearing off - without reading a manual. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS - Watch your win rate, current streak and gammons climb across real stats and insights. - Spot your habits on a GitHub-style consistency heatmap of the days you played. - Unlock around 40 tiered trophies as you master the board. MADE TO FEEL GREAT - Switch between crisp light and dark themes to match your mood or the room. - Feel every roll and move with tactile haptics. - Use a clean, distraction-free interface in 6 languages. PERFECT FOR - Complete beginners learning the backgammon rules step by step, casual players who want a relaxing offline board game, and seasoned masters sharpening doubling-cube decisions on the commute, at the cafe or before bed - no internet required. PRIVATE AND FULLY OFFLINE - No account, no sign-up and no coins, ever. - Play backgammon with no internet connection, anywhere you go. - Your stats and progress stay on your device. Download Gammonix and enjoy backgammon the way it should be: a beautiful board, smart dice strategy and a coach in your pocket. Roll the dice, offer the cube, hit the blot and bear off at your own pace, no internet required. Your move.

Play familiar Classic 8×8 chess offline, or explore Fourfold: spatial 4D chess across four connected boards in one shared game. Read the same position in flat 2D, a 3D view or a rotating 4D projection. LEARN 4D CHESS BY MAKING A MOVE Start with a simple rook move. Guided lessons and movement labs introduce coordinates, connected spaces and moves beyond a single board. Explore 102 puzzles across five learning levels, including spatial challenges that connect 2D, 3D and 4D views. Practice captures, forks and promotion, and build a daily streak. Free players receive a set of three puzzles: unfinished puzzles stay available, and the next set opens the day after all three are solved. Retries within the current set are free. ONE POSITION. THREE PERSPECTIVES. Zoom in on one flat board, explore 3D spaces or compare two planes in the rotating 4D projection. On iPad, use flat and spatial views side by side. On an open iPhone Duo, play on linked flat and spatial boards, swap their sides and keep your position. In Classic chess, the open display gives you a larger board with compact player rows and move history beside it; controls stay within reach when you close or rotate iPhone Duo. PLAY YOUR WAY Compare opening mini maps and preview your starting position in 2D, 3D or 4D before starting a game. Play offline against an on-device computer opponent or take turns with a friend on one device. No account is needed for offline play. Explore compact openings, a full army on 96 squares and an experimental four-space 8×8 board with 256 squares. PLAY ONLINE Create a private room, join with a code or QR scan, or find another player seeking a game. Choose Classic 8×8 or compact Fourfold, with untimed play or 5 or 10 minutes per player. Classic online play is unassisted. Online play requires an app account; Apple, Google and guest sign-in are available. Recent online games can be revisited while they remain available. THINK BEFORE YOU MOVE Quick helper lets you rehearse a move before committing. Ask Pawnie for contextual guidance, follow captured pieces, review moves and explore Classic variations with PGN import and export. If either player turns Pawnie off, it stays off for that match without changing the other player’s saved preference. Core games, online play, replay, basic analysis and existing lessons remain free. GO FURTHER WITH FOURFOLD PLUS An optional monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription unlocks Full helper with one possible opponent reply, deeper match analysis, additional saved-position reviews and personal practice, unlimited access to all puzzles, all advanced 4D Academy exercises, and study notes, collections and insights. Study is stored on your device. Free Study includes one new completed review per day and three new practice exercises per week. Saved work is retained if Plus expires. Analysis is a bounded search suggestion, not a guarantee of the best move or a prediction of winning chances. Demonstrations and previews do not change your game until you choose to play a move. MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME Return to saved games, follow your learning progress and choose Light, Dark or System appearance. Available in English, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings.
