Comanda Split the Bill

Comanda keeps track of what a group spent and works out who pays whom at the end, in the fewest payments possible. For the trip with friends, the shared flat, the building work, Sunday's barbecue. Open a project, add the people, log the spending, and the settlement is already there. ONE THING BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD Comanda is your notebook, not a group. There are no invitations, no login, no user account: other people do not join your project and do not log expenses themselves. You keep the book for everyone — and share the result as a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a text message. If you are looking for an app where each friend logs their own expense, this is not it. We would rather say so now than disappoint you later. WHAT IT DOES • As many projects as you like, each with its own currency and up to 30 people • Expenses with payer, date, category and five ways to split: evenly, by shares, by percentage, by exact amount, or between some of the group only • Every person's balance, always current • A settlement calculated for the fewest transfers — three people settle in two payments, not six • A record of payments already made, so balances really reach zero • A dashboard with spending per person and per category PIX, FOR BRAZIL In projects kept in Brazilian reais, every line of the settlement becomes a Pix code: a QR on screen to point a camera at, and a copy-and-paste string to send to the group. The code is built on the device, from the key you typed. Comanda does not move money. It is not a bank or a wallet, it connects to no financial institution, and it never sees a payment happen. It writes the code; you pay in your own bank's app. YOUR DATA LEAVES WHENEVER YOU WANT Export a laid-out PDF, an .xlsx spreadsheet Excel actually adds up, CSV, or plain text to paste into WhatsApp. And a complete JSON backup, everything inside, that comes back into the app later. Nothing is held hostage. PRIVACY, ACTUALLY Comanda collects nothing. No sign-up, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs. The app talks to no server — not even ours, because there is no ours. What you type stays on the device. If you want it, it syncs to your other devices through your own private iCloud, the one only you can reach. MADE YOUR WAY Seven visual directions, each with a light and a dark skin, from paper receipt to green terminal. Every one passed a contrast audit before shipping. Interface in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Dynamic Type and VoiceOver on every screen. Built for iPhone and iPad.
