Plateback is your private restaurant tracker and food journal. Remember the restaurants you loved, the dishes worth ordering again, and the places you still want to try. Save restaurants directly from Apple Maps, Google Maps, Instagram, and Photos. Add pictures and personal notes about what you ordered, then mark what you would have again, what you want to try next, and what you would skip. When hunger strikes, discover restaurants you have already visited nearby and quickly find that great place whose name you forgot. Organize your collection with tags for pizza, pasta, coffee, burgers, bakeries, and more. You can also create your own tags and filter your restaurants whenever you are deciding where to go. Recommendations are more meaningful when they come from people you trust. Share restaurant and dish recommendations with the friends you choose, without publishing reviews for everyone to see. Your food history stays private unless you decide to share it. With Plateback, you can: • Save restaurants from Apple Maps, Google Maps, Instagram, and Photos • Keep track of places you have visited and want to try • Find previously visited restaurants near you • Add photos and personal notes about individual dishes • Remember what you loved, want to try, or would skip • Organize restaurants with built-in and custom food tags • Browse all your food photos in one gallery • Share recommendations privately with friends • Keep your personal collection private by default Whether you are remembering the perfect plate of pasta, deciding which pastry to order again, or building a restaurant list for your next trip, Plateback gives your food memories a place to live.
Yum Rank

Ask someone to rate a burrito out of ten and they'll say seven. Ask whether it beat the last one and they'll know instantly. So Yum Rank never asks for a score. It asks how you felt, then a handful of head-to-heads, and works out the rest. HOW IT WORKS 1. Gut reaction. Loved it, It was fine, or Not for me. 2. A few comparisons. "Which was better, this or that?" Each answer halves what's left, so a list of 100 places takes about 7 questions and 500 takes 9. 3. A note, if you want one. It's optional, and it comes last, so it never gets in the way of the ranking. Out comes an exact position and a score from 0 to 10. Your #1 is a 10.0, and it stays a 10.0 as your list grows. A LIST THAT STAYS SORTED Star ratings compress. Almost everything lands on a 7 or an 8, and a year later half your list is tied and none of it can be ordered. A ranked list can't tie. It's still sorted at 20 places and still sorted at 900, grouped by city so a trip is one scroll instead of a search. FRIENDS, NOT STRANGERS A friend putting a place at their #3 tells you more than a thousand strangers averaging 4.2 stars. Follow the people whose taste you trust and see their real positions on your feed, and on the page of every restaurant you look at. WHAT'S INSIDE • Search any restaurant and rank it in under a minute • Loved it, It was fine, Not for me, each with its emoji so the buckets read at a glance • An exact position and a 0 to 10 score for everything on your list • Your list grouped by city • Want to try, for the places you haven't made it to yet • A feed of what the people you follow have ranked • Friends' rankings shown right on a restaurant's page • An activity inbox for new followers and new rankings • A private account, with follow requests you approve one at a time • Push notifications you can turn off individually • Dark mode, Dynamic Type, and Sign in with Apple NO SCORES TO SECOND-GUESS You never type a number. You answer "which was better" a few times and the list does the rest. It's the only question anyone can answer honestly anyway. Rank what you eat. See where your friends go.
