Somewhere behind the water heater, a closet is quietly becoming a datacenter. LabberDash is a comedic idle/tycoon game about secretly building an absurd homelab — one Raspberry Pi, one NAS, one suspiciously large Amazon box at a time — while keeping your spouse none the wiser. Think Papers, Please meets r/homelab. WATCH THE SUS METER Every loud fan, hot server, and unexplained package raises your spouse's suspicion. Let it climb too high and you'll face a Spouse Encounter — play your Alibi cards ("it's for work," "it's a tax write-off") to talk your way out before disaster hits. MANAGE A REAL POWER BUDGET Your circuit has real limits. Overload it and you'll trip the breaker, killing every server at once. Panel upgrades and a Solar tier raise your headroom — and quietly launder your habit while you're at it. BUILD AN ABSURD HARDWARE CATALOG Grow from a single Pi to a full rack: NAS storage, a media server, a crypto rig, a virtualization host, and more — each individually upgradeable, each with its own power draw, noise, and Sus cost. BALANCE THE HOUSE Not every purchase has to be LabberTech. DomestiTech gear — smart plugs, video doorbells, robot vacuums — lowers Sus and keeps the peace, if you're willing to spend Compute on looking responsible. No pay-to-win, no forced ads, no loot boxes — everything in LabberDash is earn-able through normal play. Optional in-app purchases and rewarded video ads are there if you want to speed things up, never because you have to. Can you go from one Pi to a full rack without ending up on the couch?

InfraSim is a system-design game you play with your thumbs. Drag a load balancer, a cache, a database, and a queue onto the canvas. Wire them together. Hit deploy. Watch live traffic flow through the graph you built: latency, cost, and errors move because of what you designed, not a script. Then something breaks. A traffic spike hits at the worst possible moment. A zone goes dark. A bot swarm hammers your login endpoint. You have seconds to find the bottleneck, fix it, and keep your users online, or watch the postmortem explain exactly what took you down. No experience needed: the first chapter starts from a single server and adds one idea per level. WHAT YOU'LL PLAY - Interview Mode: four classic system design interview questions (URL Shortener, Chat App, News Feed, Photo Upload). Build your answer against real requirements, run it, and get an interviewer's feedback. Then the follow-up round changes the requirements and your design has to keep up - A guided campaign, 56 levels across 12 chapters, from "single server" to "multi-region, cache-fronted, queue-buffered" architecture, one concept at a time - Startup Survival: an endless run where incidents escalate until something gives - Daily Challenge: one seeded scenario, one shot, a global leaderboard - Sandbox: no rules, no scoring, just build whatever you want and watch it run - A full encyclopedia of the concepts behind every service, plus a plain-English glossary, written for players who've never touched a terminal HOW IT WORKS Every run is a real (simulated) system: aggregate traffic, queueing curves, capacity, cost, and failure all computed on your device from what you actually built. Nothing here is a quiz with a "correct" architecture, most levels have several viable designs with real trade-offs between cost, latency, and resilience. Play the tutorial, 15 of the 56 campaign levels and the first URL Shortener interview round completely free, no account needed. Sign in only if you want your progress to follow you across devices and a spot on the Daily Challenge leaderboard. InfraSim is an independent educational game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google. Provider names are used only to map generic architecture concepts onto terminology you may already recognise. No ads. No loot boxes. No energy timers. Pro unlocks Interview Mode, the rest of the campaign, unlimited Survival runs, more Sandbox slots, and the full Daily Challenge archive: everything you've already played stays free forever. SUBSCRIPTION InfraSim Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime unlock. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
