The Alien Edge vs EquoRank

Every Australian racing day, scored runner by runner, so you can study the card with a sharper eye. The Alien Edge is a members-only racing club for serious form students and punters. Each morning it scans the full card and scores every runner on form, going, jockey, class and market value. The strongest ratings become The Alien 5. THE ALIEN 5 Five ranked selections, locked each morning. If a pick is scratched, it comes straight off the card and a replacement takes its spot, so your list stays current without guesswork. ROSWELL RADAR See the near-miss runners that only just missed the five. Choose an Auto or Manual sweep, and get alerts when a runner starts firming in the market. COSMIC SPLIT BANKROLL PLANNER Set your bank and Cosmic Split sizes stakes across the day's picks. When the card changes, it re-sizes itself, keeping your plan disciplined and consistent. FULL FORM BREAKDOWNS Dig into every race with scores, ratings and odds for each runner. It's the detail you need to check the numbers and form your own view. PERSONAL PUNTING P&L Track your running profit, strike rate and levels, and unlock achievements along the way. Refunded scratchings are counted as $0, so your ledger stays honest. BIFF'S GRAYS SPORTS ALMANAC Biff remembers every settled result. Ask him about the club's full record and form, and get straight answers from the history. MOTHERSHIP TRANSMISSION The club's broadcast pick of the day, delivered to members who want one clear focus. EquoRank rates every runner in every Australian race on one transparent rubric, then publishes what it picked against what actually won. It is analytics, not a tip line. It never takes bets and never links to a wagering service. WHAT IT DOES Today The day's card for any state — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Darwin. Meetings, race numbers, jump times, distance, track condition, and the highest-rated runner in each race with its Rating. Yesterday's results sit on the same strip, so you can look back as easily as forward. Top Picks The highest-rated runner in every race that could be rated, feature meetings first. A race we could not rate has no pick — the app says so instead of putting up a name to fill the space. Race card The full field, ranked, with the Rating beside every runner, jockey and trainer. Swipe between races in the meeting. Once a race is run, first, second and third are marked on the same card. Record Every pick, scored. Top-pick and top-3 strike rate for the whole record and broken down by race day, filterable by state. Every pick was recorded before its race was run and is shown whether it won or lost. One pick per race — always the highest-rated runner, never a shortlist. Tracks Follow the tracks you care about. See how many races we hold for each one and when it last raced. Talk One national room for people reading the same card. Sign in to post. Notifications An optional reminder before a race you are following jumps, an alert if a runner we picked is scratched late, and one summary when the day's results are in. WHAT A RATING IS A Rating is a score from a published rubric — points for things like winning at this track, over this distance, on this going, and how the jockey and trainer are actually striking. The weightings were measured on past races and checked against races the model had never seen, not chosen by hand. A Rating is not a percentage chance of winning, and it is not a prediction. Higher-rated runners win more often than lower-rated ones. In most races the top-rated runner still does not win, and the Record tab exists so you can see that for yourself rather than take our word for it. Every factor is labelled either a measured fact or a model input, so you always know which part of a number is history and which part is judgement. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM Published Australian race fields and results, plus our own archive of every result we have collected. No tipsters, no bookmakers, no odds — nobody else's opinion is folded into the number. INFORMATIONAL ONLY EquoRank is an analytics tool. It does not take bets, handle money, quote odds, or link to any wagering service. Nothing in it is betting advice, and no outcome is promised. Gambling problem?
