GridOp is an idle strategy game that runs the real physics of a power grid. You run a U.S. regional grid: place transmission lines between power plants and cities, energize new customers, and keep the lights on as demand climbs. Under the hood, a genuine DC power-flow solver computes how electricity actually moves — congestion, overloads, and cascading blackouts are real consequences of how you built your grid, not scripted events. Every failure is one you can understand. Push a line past its limit and it trips; the power reroutes, and if a neighbor can't carry the load, the cascade begins. A plain-language panel tells you exactly what failed and why — so you learn the grid by running it. WHAT YOU DO • Build freely — place transmission lines across a stylized regional map • Energize cities, from a rural co-op to a data center, as your grid grows • Watch real load flow — line color and animated power tell you where the strain is • Trace every cascade back to a decision you made • Engineer redundancy so a single line failure never takes you down (N-1 thinking) • Weather heat waves, storms, and wildfires that threaten the grid • Prestige and rebuild smarter each cycle with what you've learned WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most "grid" games fake it with +1 buttons. GridOp is honest: a real load-flow solver is the engine, so the grid behaves like the real thing. Whether you're an engineer, a student, or just grid-curious, it turns the invisible machine that powers modern life into something you can actually operate. No account. No ads. No in-app purchases. Read full description

Field Guide is a companion for Satisfactory: a production planner, a world map and a progress tracker in your pocket, built for a second screen beside the game. PLAN ANY FACTORY • Pick what you want to make and how fast. Get every machine, the power it draws and the raw resources it needs. • See the whole chain as a list or as a production network, with each step and every belt and pipe between them. • Overclock individual steps, add Somersloops, and watch the plan re-solve. • Batch mode for fixed amounts: how many crafts, how long, and what's left over. • Power mode: choose a generator and fuel, and plan the fuel's production chain too. • Compare every recipe for an item, alternates included, across the whole chain. • Save plans and come back to them. KNOW THE WORLD • Every resource node, well and geyser, with its purity and altitude. • All 1,242 power slugs, 106 Somersloops, 298 Mercer Spheres and 89 crash sites. • Double-tap a collectible to mark it collected, and long-press to mark where you are. • Find the nearest pure iron node, or the nearest slug you haven't picked up yet. • Claim the nodes you're mining, and see your total extraction at a glance. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS • Milestones, MAM research and alternate recipes. The planner only uses what you've unlocked. • Space Elevator phases and milestones, each one plannable in a tap. • A crash site checklist showing what each site needs before it opens. IMPORT YOUR SAVE Open a .sav file from your PC and Field Guide reads your unlocks and every collectible you've picked up. You check a summary before anything changes, and one tap undoes it. YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE • No account, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your device. • Works offline, with the whole game database and map built in. • Back up everything to a single file you can keep, or move to another device. Field Guide is an unofficial fan-made companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Coffee Stain Studios AB. Satisfactory is their trademark.
