Beyond language, meet people and culture LingoBridge is where a language exchange turns into sharing a culture. We put our effort into showing you the right people, not just more people. ■ Matched by level and purpose We suggest people by CEFR level (A1–C2), what you are here for, and your interests and style. Not by age or postcode alone. · Language exchange — someone whose learning and teaching languages fit yours · Culture guide — a neighbourhood as the people who live there tell it · Dating — only when both of you are here for the same thing Not sure of your level? Five questions will place you. ■ Local Restaurants, cafés and spots posted by the people who actually live there. Not a tourist guide — the places they really go. Browse as a list or on the map, and save the ones you want. ■ Anonymous board A place for the things that are hard to put your name to. Posts go up anonymously; comments carry your nickname. ■ The app handles the language barrier Chats, profiles and posts are translated with DeepL. When the text is already in a language you read, the translate button disappears entirely. If a translation reads wrong, you can tell us right there. The app itself is available in 한국어, English, 中文, Tiếng Việt, Français, 日本語 and Español. ■ Safety comes first · Adults only, 19 and over. Users in Korea verify by mobile identity check; users abroad verify with passport details. · Profile photos pass an automatic AI review, then an admin check. Photos posted to Local and the anonymous board are reviewed by an admin. · A banned-word filter applies to chats and posts. · An account reported by three different users is suspended while we look into it. · Leave any conversation to clear it from your list, and block anyone you would rather not hear from. · Every conversation opens with a safety notice. ■ Passes and Lingo · Passes — chatting needs a pass. Basic (chat) and Translation Plus (chat + translation + unlimited profile views) come as 1-day, 7-day or 30-day. Annual Premium (translation + unlimited profile views + VIP badge + top of the feed) runs 365 days. · Without a pass you can still browse people, read and write on Local and the anonymous board, and send likes. · Lingo — points for unlocking full profiles, match boosters, buying passes in the Lingo Store, and sending gifts in chat. They never expire, and they are forfeited if you delete your account. · You do not have to buy Lingo. You earn it for daily check-ins, completing your profile, identity verification, posting to Local, inviting a friend, your first conversation, and suggestions we adopt. · Payment and refunds are covered under [Refund Policy] inside the app. ■ Business information 마운틴브릿지 (Mountainbridge) · Representative: Kwon San Business registration 750-03-03520 Mail-order sales 2025-Seoul Mapo-1800 Location-based service registration No. 1276 21-11, World Cup-ro 20-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Korea support@lingobridge.cloud This service is classified in Korea as media harmful to youth and is available to adults aged 19 and over.

About

Gatchi

Enjoy Korea together. Gatchi ("같이" — Korean for "together") connects you with people who share your interests, so you can experience Korea with company. Build your Korea bucket list, find people who want to do the same things, chat, and turn those plans into real meetups. Planning a trip, visiting now, or living here — Gatchi helps you find the people who make each moment better. BUILD YOUR KOREA BUCKET LIST Pick what you actually want to do: chimaek by the Han River, a baseball game, sunrise on Bukhansan, a night at a pocha, hanbok at the palace, noraebang, Seongsu cafés, Namsan, Jeju, traditional markets, Han River cycling. Your list is how you find people — and how they find you. DISCOVER PEOPLE WHO MATCH Browse profiles in your city with filters that matter: distance, neighborhood, age, languages, nationality, interests, and the bucket list items you have in common. Narrow it to travelers or to people living in Korea. INVITE, DON'T JUST SWIPE Every invitation is attached to a specific activity. Instead of a blank "hi," you're asking someone to do something concrete. If you both invited each other, you match instantly and the chat opens. JOIN OR HOST GROUP ACTIVITIES Browse activities other members created — a hike, a food crawl, a language exchange, a night out — and join with one tap. Hosting is just as simple: create an activity, set the place and time, and a group chat opens automatically. CHAT AND MAKE A REAL PLAN Message one-to-one or in groups, in real time. When you're ready, propose a place and time right inside the chat. Once everyone confirms, it lands on your Plans tab, with reminders the day before, the morning of, and 30 minutes ahead. BUILD A REPUTATION After you meet, leave reputation tags — friendly, punctual, reliable, great conversation. Reputation shows on profiles, so the people you meet come with a track record. SAFETY AND CONTROL - Report or block anyone, at any time - Profiles with multiple reports are automatically hidden from Discover while our team reviews them - Location is used only to sort people by distance, and only while the app is open - Snooze Discover whenever you want to step back - Per-category notification settings - Delete your account at any time FOR TRAVELERS Line up plans before you land. Share your dates and destination, get matched with people whose schedules overlap yours, and arrive with a conversation already going. FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN KOREA Show newcomers the places you love, practice languages, and build a circle around what you actually enjoy doing — not just where you work or study. Korea is better shared. Make friends who share your interests, and enjoy it together. Questions or feedback: support@gatchi.co
