An IQ-style logic test that is generated, never memorized. 20 tasks, about 10 minutes, and the result is free: your score, its confidence range and your profile across five facets of reasoning. Every task in Matriq is drawn by an algorithm the moment you open it. There is no question bank to look up or learn by heart - take the test twice and you will not meet the same task twice. FIVE TASK TYPES - Matrix Logic - find the missing cell in a 3x3 grid - Figure Analogy - A is to B as C is to ? - Sequence - continue the row of figures - Odd One Out - one tile breaks the rule - Number Series - continue the numbers HOW THE TEST WORKS The 20 tasks adapt as you go: a correct answer raises the difficulty, a miss lowers it, so the test settles near your own level instead of spending questions on the obvious. The score is computed with a Rasch (item response) model on a 100 +/- 15 scale and shown as a range rather than a single number - 20 tasks cannot honestly be more precise than that. Speed is not part of the score. FREE, WITH NO PURCHASE - The complete 20-task test, every time - Your score, its confidence range and your five-facet profile - A step-by-step explanation for the first 3 tasks - Chapters 1 and 2 of the scale - level nodes you can run with hints or clean - Practice in Matrix Logic - A retest every 7 days MATRIQ PRO - ONE PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION - A step-by-step explanation for every task: the rule behind it, and why the answer follows from it - Chapters 3 to 6 of the scale - Practice in all five task types, with no waiting timers - Your full attempt history with a progress chart - A retest whenever you want Restore Purchases lives in Settings. QUIET BY DESIGN Matriq works fully offline. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and the whole app is a few megabytes. It collects no data at all - your answers, your score and your history stay on your iPhone. Free: the full 20-task test, your score, percentile and confidence range. Matriq Pro (one-time purchase): a step-by-step explanation for every task, unlimited practice, and attempt history. Disclaimer: Matriq is a puzzle and practice app. The score it produces is an IQ-style estimate based on the app's own procedurally generated tasks and its own reference model. Do better on the logic test in a recruitment process. Matrix reasoning is one of the most common task types in job tests, and practice makes a difference: if you have seen the format before, you lose no time working out the task and you go in calmer. A few days is enough to get the format down. The first five tasks are free. The rest is unlocked with a one-time purchase. No subscription, no login, no ads. ANSWERS THAT EXPLAIN After each answer you see exactly which rules applied: not "the number changes", but "the number increases by 1 to the right and decreases by 1 downwards". If you get it wrong, you can open an example of the rule you missed. TASKS THAT NEVER RUN OUT Eight kinds of tasks, from figures and sector wheels to arrows, symbols, paths and crosses, with the same rules as in the real tests. The tasks are generated on the phone, so you never see the same task twice. PRACTISE OR TAKE THE TEST • Practise: one task at a time, the answer right away, and a time per task that you choose. The level follows you, or you set it. • Test: choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 tasks at two minutes or one minute each, with adaptive difficulty. Afterwards a level 1–10 and a review of every task. The statistics show how your level develops and which rules to practise. GOOD TO KNOW Your results are stored on the phone only. The app sends anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off. The level is the app's own scale and does not predict the result of any other test.
