Fork is a tuning fork that listens. Strike it — tap the fork, shake your phone, or knock on the body — and it rings with the long, pure decay of real brass, a haptic pulse in your hand. Then let it listen: Fork hears your instrument and shows the note, with cents deviation on an engraved scale whose brass needle settles like a balance beam. Fork knows what pitch has meant across five centuries. Tune to modern concert pitch, or to A=415 as baroque players do, 432, 442 for orchestras, 444. Choose equal temperament — or just intonation and Pythagorean tuning, with every interval derived from the historical ratios. Strike the fork in any temperament and hear the difference, or tune by the beats between the ringing fork and your instrument: the method musicians used for three hundred years. No accounts. No ads. No noise. A tuning fork, a sheet of paper, and everything a fork should know. — Strike by tap, shake, or knock; haptic feedback; natural brass decay — Listen mode: live note and cents readout from your instrument — Any chromatic note, octaves 2–6 — Reference pitches: A = 415, 432, 440, 442, 444 — Temperaments: equal, just intonation, Pythagorean — with selectable tonic — Designed for iPhone and iPad Fecit Audio — small instruments, made properly.

Free, with no ads, no account and no tracking. Gelato Tuner puts a chromatic tuner, a metronome and a tone generator in one simple app. Tuner • Hears any note from A0 to C8 and shows the note, how many cents sharp or flat it is, and its frequency. • A clear dial shows which way to tune, and a soft haptic confirms when a note is in tune. • Set the reference pitch A4 from 430 to 450 Hz, and show notes as sharps or flats. • The microphone is used only while the tuner is on screen. Audio is analyzed on your iPhone and is never recorded or sent anywhere. Metronome • 20 to 300 BPM. Set the tempo with the dial, the plus and minus buttons, tap tempo, or a marking such as Andante or Allegro. • Time signatures from 1/4 to 7/4 and 3/8 to 12/8. Make any beat accented, normal or silent. • Eighth-note, triplet and sixteenth-note subdivisions, and six click sounds. • 16 drum grooves, including Rock, Funk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Shuffle, Swing, Bossa Nova, Samba and Jazz Waltz. • Timed by the audio clock, so the beat stays steady and the display matches what you hear. • Keeps playing with the screen locked or while you use another app. Tone • Plays a steady reference note from C0 to B5, in Pure, Warm or Bright. • Sub-bass notes down to 16 Hz for checking a subwoofer or a sound system. • Follows the tuner's reference pitch, so A4 plays at 440 Hz or wherever you set it. • Keeps playing while you tune by ear, switch tabs or lock the screen. Gelato Tuner collects no data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or in-app purchases, and it works without an internet connection.
