QuTime
Read full descriptionHide full description
QuTime helps small teams record attendance from the phones they already use—or from a shared tablet—without dedicated time-clock hardware. CLOCK IN WITH CONFIDENCE • Clock in and out from approved work locations. • Complete a consent-based face check when your workplace requires it. • Keep each punch connected to the time and place it was recorded. • Use a shared-tablet kiosk when your team works from one site. STAY ON TOP OF YOUR WORKDAY • View schedules and recent time entries. • Request leave and missed-punch corrections. • Follow request status and receive relevant notifications. • Review attendance exceptions before they become timesheet questions. FOR MANAGERS • See team attendance and people who may need attention. • Review leave, attendance corrections, and face-check exceptions. • Keep schedules, leave, punches, and attendance records together. PRIVACY BUILT INTO THE FLOW QuTime does not continuously track location. When location rules are enabled, it checks location for clock-in and clock-out. Face matching is used only when enabled by the organization and after worker consent. Workers can withdraw consent and delete their face data in the app. QuTime requires an account linked to an organization using SVDY. Available features depend on your organization’s plan, role, and configuration.
Punch

Punch is a simple, fast time clock built for the job site. It replaces paper timesheets with one big button. Punch is invite-only: your boss adds your email to the crew list, and you're in. Sign in with Google or Apple — no passwords to remember. If you're not on a crew yet, the app shows exactly which email to give your boss. WHAT IT DOES • Clock in and out Tap one big button to start and end your shift. Your time is recorded to the minute, automatically — no math and no paperwork at the end of the week. • On-site location check When you clock in or out, Punch records your location at that moment to confirm you were at the job site. Location is captured only when you punch — never in the background. • Honest about connection problems No signal at the site? Punch tells you plainly when it can't reach the clock, and never fakes your status. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Large, thumb-friendly buttons that work with gloves on • One-tap sign-in that remembers you between shifts • Simple enough to use right on the first try PRIVACY Your information is used only to verify work time and run payroll. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. See our privacy policy for full details.

The clearest difference is update cadence: Punch at weekly against QuTime's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
