Gwtar Viewer
Read full descriptionHide full description
Gwtar Viewer opens Gwtar archives โ self-extracting single-file HTML that packs a web page with all of its images and styles into one .html file. Gwtar files do not work when opened directly in a browser: they need a server that answers Range requests, fetching just the parts of the file that are actually needed. Gwtar Viewer runs a local server on your device to provide exactly that, letting the archive's own rendering logic do the rest. Your files are never modified. It also works as a viewer for ordinary HTML files, not just Gwtar. โ Features - Open and read Gwtar files (.html) - Files you open are kept as history cards with thumbnails for quick reopening - Page zoom, remembered per file - Light / dark themes, English / Japanese UI - One-tap deletion of site data stored by archives โ Privacy Everything happens on your device. The only network traffic is between the app and its own local server. Nothing is ever sent or collected externally. โ Open source Gwtar Viewer is open-source software under the 0BSD license. See the support URL. The Gwtar format was designed by Gwern Branwen (this app is an independent implementation).
Eledom
Read full descriptionHide full description
Eledom shows HTML full screen. No address bar, no tabs, no bookmarks โ just the page and a single button in the bottom left corner. Made for anything that lives as HTML and gets used regularly: maintenance manuals, inspection instructions, exported wiki pages, training material, reports, dashboards. WHAT YOU CAN OPEN โข A single HTML file โข A whole folder with CSS, JavaScript and images โ the page stays intact โข A web address STAYS LOADED Local files are copied into the app when you open them. The page then works without a network connection and comes straight back after every app launch โ until you close it from the menu. No digging through the file system again, no reloading. ONE BUTTON The button in the bottom left corner opens a menu: open, reload, close, info, settings. Once a page is loaded the button shrinks and steps back so it stays out of the way. SETTINGS โข Interface language: German or English โข Appearance: System, Light or Dark PRIVACY Eledom has no account and no server. No data is collected, nothing is analysed, nothing leaves the device. Opened files live in the app's storage only. For iPhone and iPad.
