The horde never stops coming. Outlive it. Fifteen minutes, one hunter, and an arena that keeps sending more. Your weapons attack automatically, leaving you to move, time your escape and choose your next upgrade. BUILD YOUR RUN Draft weapons, upgrades and passives. Reroll unwanted cards or banish an option for the rest of the hunt. Combine 18 weapons with their evolutions, from Chain Lightning's Storm Conduit to Bone Spear's Death Lance. Upgrade cards show what your build needs, and the Evolution Codex records your discoveries. Survive to 15:00 to win. 9 HUNTERS Start free with Vess, the balanced Huntress, and Kael, the fragile Pyromancer. Earn seven more through challenges. Each brings a different starting weapon or strength: extra draft choices, earlier evolutions, heavy armour, shorter cooldowns or growing kill-streak power. Win on The Ashlands to unlock Silas, a pilgrim who trades health and speed for damage. 3 ARENAS, 3 BOSSES Hunt through The Ossuary, Frostvault and Ashlands. Solid ruins shape your route; pass through open arches and steer around the masonry. Frostvault's harmless frost fields slow walking enemies more than you, offering a chance to reshape a chase. Ashlands lava and hostile boss pools warn before they strike. Deeper arenas bring tougher hordes and greater Essence rewards. Survive one minute to open Frostvault and three minutes to open Ashlands. MOVE AND WARD Drag to steer. Tap Hex Step for a short, protected dash, and place its control where it suits you. Complete optional Warding Rituals by charging three rune seals: push back the horde, recover a little health and gain a brief damage boost. Ruins block movement, while weapons travel over them. A NEW HUNT EACH DAY Daily Challenge shares one hero, arena and seed each UTC day. Everyone borrows the same Normal-difficulty loadout, with auto-aim and all 12 relics at level 1. Purchases and saved upgrades do not change daily starting power. Earn Essence and chase your longest survival, with kills breaking ties. Daily bests stay on your device. MASTER YOUR HUNTERS Win all 27 hunter-and-arena combinations in regular hunts, then earn stronger seals on Normal and Hard. Five mastery crests reward your victories and appear on Home and shared score cards. Earlier achievements are kept. BETWEEN HUNTS Spend earned Essence on 12 permanent relics. Regular hunts earn hero and arena unlocks, mastery and Codex discoveries. Optional Game Center offers standard-hunt leaderboards and supported achievements. Progress is stored on your device; there is no full cloud save. PLAY ON YOUR TERMS Portrait play on iPhone, iOS 17 or later, with gothic illustrated heroes, enemies and scenery. Regular hunts offer Easy, Normal and Hard, optional auto-aim and adjustable screen shake. Gameplay works offline. No app account, advertisements, subscriptions or energy timers. Every hero, arena and relic upgrade can be earned by playing. One optional purchase, Unlock All, grants permanent access to all 9 heroes, all 3 arenas and all 12 relics at maximum level, plus three supporter crests. Owners can choose to keep earning relic upgrades while their purchased maximum levels remain available. Mastery crests are earned through play. Existing Unlock All and Starter Pack purchases keep their benefits. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and the Unlock All screen.
BoneFall

The dead come in waves. You have one thumb and forty-five seconds until the next one. Bonefall is a survival horde game for a phone held in one hand. Move with the stick, drink when you must — everything else your character does on its own. Every forty-five seconds the ground gives up more of them: skeletons with swords, orcs with axes, and every tenth wave something that was buried in armour. THREE WAYS TO FIGHT A warrior who holds the line and clears what surrounds him. An archer who trades armour for distance and volume. A mage whose staff only keeps him alive while his spells do the killing. Each carries its own weapon, its own skill tree and its own reason to die differently. TREES THAT MAKE YOU CHOOSE A hundred nodes across the classes, in tiers behind gates. Ranks, not toggles: put five points into one blow or spread them thin. Nothing leaves your pool until you confirm it, so a plan can be laid out and taken back. LOOT THAT CHANGES THE NUMBERS Weapons in five rarities with affixes that add up. Boxes bought with what the dead dropped, opened on the spot. Every stat on the sheet is the sum of what you are carrying and what you spent, and both are shown before you commit. MADE FOR THE HAND, NOT THE DESK Portrait. One thumb on the stick, potions where the other thumb rests. The interface is laid out inside the safe area, so nothing hides under the island or the home bar. NO STRINGS No account. No connection. No timers waiting for you to come back. Start it on a train and it plays.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Hexhunter at none against BoneFall's shown. BoneFall's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
