Sunforge
Read full descriptionHide full description
A block made of visible mini blocks slides over your tower. Tap to drop it. Whatever hangs past the edge shears off and tumbles away โ and only the mini blocks that STAY are added to your sum. Hit the sun's target exactly and your streak smelts into a gold ingot: tower repaired, combo climbing. Go one past it and the streak scorches black. That's the whole cruel deal of Sunforge: landing exactly the number you need often means hanging cells over the edge on purpose. You trade tower width for the sum โ or sacrifice the sum to stay wide. Width is life. The sun doesn't care which you choose. ASCENT โ THE CLIMB โข Three suns, ramping speed, forge targets that grow with your altitude โข Tactical discards for hopeless blocks โ earned back by forging โข An eclipse sky that darkens as you rise, from sun-bleached sand to black totality โข Milestone stingers every ten floors THE BLOCKS THAT BREAK THE RULES โข The diamond block: land it perfectly centered and your block regrows to full starting width โ the comeback the sun occasionally grants โข The burgundy block: cursed, and it comes in fast. It never joins the tower โ let it fly past and it costs nothing; touch it down and it burns away every mini block it covers. Watch the NEXT chip for the warning. MIRAGE โ ZEN, UNTIL THE STORM Pure precision stacking, no sums โ but every so often a storm sways your tower, and honest physics decides what stands: if the weight above any edge leans too far, it topples. Stack centered and the wind finds nothing to take. LEARN BY PLAYING Two short playable lessons open on first launch โ one for Ascent (stacking, the forge sum, the diamond, the cursed block) and one for Mirage (stacking and the storm). Each is skippable in one tap and replayable from the menu. PLAY HANDS-FREE (OPTIONAL) Turn on Sound to Drop and a clap, a tap, or a short word drops the block โ no tapping the screen. It's an accessibility option, off until you enable it. The microphone is used on your device for loudness only; nothing is recorded, saved, or sent anywhere, and the game plays exactly the same by tap. NOTHING BEHIND THE CURTAIN โข No ads, no accounts, no in-app purchases โข Zero network calls โ works in airplane mode forever โข No tracking and no third-party code; your best score never leaves your device โข The only permission is the microphone, and only if you turn on Sound to Drop Built natively in SwiftUI and SpriteKit for iPhone and iPad, iOS 17+, with synthesized audio, haptics, and a hard-edged desert-forge look. The sun is watching. Forge something.

Beamfall is a puzzle about light. A beam enters the grid. Turn the pieces it passes through until every target is lit in its own colour. Tap to turn. That is the only control in the game. 500 HAND-VERIFIED LEVELS Every level was solved by brute force before it shipped. The "par" you see is not a guess โ it is the proven shortest route, checked by exhausting every possible arrangement of the board. Three diamonds means you found it. Nobody can post an impossible score, because the game knows what impossible is. TEN WORLDS The board changes its skin every fifty levels โ First Light, Deep Field, Ember, Verdant, Amethyst, Tide, Solar, Rose Quartz, Glacier, and finally Terminus. Ten palettes across five hundred puzzles, so you always know how far you have come. EVERY TENTH LEVEL FIGHTS BACK Boss runs are larger, denser, and often demand that no light leaks off the board at all. Past level 100, that no-leak rule becomes the norm rather than the exception, and the grid stops forgiving stray beams. SEVEN PIECES Mirrors bounce. Splitters divide a beam in two. Prisms bend colour. Colour locks open only for the right wavelength. The rules are shown in-game and never in a wall of text. THREE HINTS, IF YOU WANT THEM Three hints for the whole game, not three per level. Each highlights the exact piece worth turning next. AN OPTIONAL LEADERBOARD Sign in to put your name on a global board, ranked by diamonds with fewest taps breaking ties. Entirely optional โ every level, every hint and all your progress work with no account at all. You can delete your account and every score from inside the game at any time. BUILT TO BE READABLE Colour is never the only cue. Shapes mode gives every colour its own glyph and every beam its own dash pattern, for players who find rose and mint hard to tell apart. Reduce Motion is honoured, and sound and haptics each have their own switch. FREE, WITH ADS โ OR PAY ONCE Beamfall is free and every one of the 500 levels is included from the moment you install it. Ads appear between levels, never during one, and never before you have played a while. If you would rather not see them, a single $1.99 purchase removes them permanently. There is no subscription, no energy timer, no lives to wait for, and nothing else to buy โ ever. Plays entirely offline. Beamfall is made by PTRI Innovation.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Sunforge at none against Beamfall's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
