Routine Timer

Big friendly timers. One step at a time. No pressure. Routine Timer is a visual timer for kids and grown-ups who get stuck between steps. Morning, homework, cleanup, bedtime: any routine becomes a sequence of visual steps, each with its own full-screen timer. A big color ring shrinks as the minutes pass, and a gentle tap says it is time to move on. MADE FOR REAL LIFE • Build a routine from steps: an icon and a duration, nothing else to set up • One giant timer per step, readable from across the room • A haptic nudge on every transition, and a notification with sound when the screen is off • Pause, skip, go back or restart any step. No streaks, no guilt, no failure stats • Notifications keep the routine going while the phone is locked PERFECT FOR • Morning routine before school, bedtime routine after the bath • Homework blocks and focus sprints • Toddlers and preschoolers learning to get ready on their own • Kids with ADHD or autism who do better with a schedule they can see • Cleanup bursts, chores and screen-time limits WHY IT WORKS A child cannot feel ten minutes, but can see a color ring getting smaller. Steps take the arguing out of transitions: the timer says it is time, not the parent. Grown-ups use it the same way for their own mornings and work sprints. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. Works offline. SIMPLE PRICING Your first routine is free, full featured, forever: every step, sounds and notifications. One purchase unlocks unlimited routines. No subscription, nothing recurring. If you already unlocked the app, nothing changes for you.

Broc makes you earn your screen time. Pick the apps that pull you in and Broc keeps them locked until you have done the habit you said mattered today. Most app blockers have a snooze button. Broc does not. You get your apps back by doing the habit—not by tapping “5 more minutes.” HOW IT WORKS • Choose the apps to block. • Set your daily habits: read, train, study, or anything else. • When you open a blocked app, Broc shows your habits instead. • Finish them to earn your time back. TWO WAYS TO EARN IT BACK • Per habit: each habit you complete unlocks a chunk of screen time. • All habits first: clear your whole list before any selected app opens. PUT IN THE MINUTES Use timer verification for habits such as reading, studying, training, or practising. The session has to run; a quick tick is not enough. STAY HONEST • Streaks track every day you follow through. • Optional AI photo verification checks the evidence you submit for a habit. • Progress shows your completion history over time. YOUR SCREEN TIME DATA On iPhone, Broc uses Apple’s Screen Time controls to apply the blocks you choose. Apple keeps the identities of selected apps private from Broc, and Broc cannot see what you do inside them. Broc is a subscription with a 7-day free trial. One plan includes unlimited habits, custom unlock durations, AI photo verification, and full history. Cancel anytime in your subscription settings. No ads. Habits and streaks sync securely to your account. Privacy Policy: https://getbroc.app/privacy/ Terms of Use: https://getbroc.app/terms/ Broc. You against your phone.

Verdict
Routine Timer and Broc are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Routine Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Broc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
