Fotufilm
Read full descriptionHide full description
Fotufilm is a film camera and editor that develops photos and video through a physical simulation of photographic film. It is not a preset or a filter placed over the image. Shoot with live film previews, or choose a photo, camera RAW image, or video from your library. Grain, halation, color crossover, softness, and highlight roll-off respond naturally to the light and image. DEVELOP, DON’T FILTER • Preview every included film stock on your image • See film develop live in the camera viewfinder • Edit photos, RAW images, and video with the same film engine • Touch and hold to compare with the original • Work in SDR or HDR FILM AT PHYSICAL SCALE Choose gauges from Super 8 and 16mm through Super 35, 35mm, 120, and 4×5. Grain, softness, and halation change with the frame size instead of behaving like an arbitrary texture. MAKE THE PRINT YOURS Adjust exposure, undertone, shadows, highlights, saturation, vibrance, grain, halation, and development couplers. Grade shadows, midtones, and highlights independently, or select a color or range of light for precise adjustments. Finish with crop presets for standard ratios, film gauges, and social formats, plus rotate, mirror, straighten, and perspective controls. Undo and redo make experimentation easy. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your device. Fotufilm has no account, ads, analytics, or server uploads. Your photos and videos stay yours. SpektraLab develops your photos the way a darkroom does. Each frame is exposed onto a measured film, developed, and printed on a measured paper, with light traced from 380 to 780 nanometres in 81 steps. What you get is not a filter laid on top. It is a print. NOT A FILTER. A PRINT. A preset moves colors around. SpektraLab moves light: through the film's dye layers, then through the paper's. Grain, halation and the colors in the shadows come out of that process, so every photo responds the way film would, at the size you shot it. TWENTY-FOUR FILMS. NINE PAPERS. Color negative, slide, cine and black-and-white stocks, each a measured profile with its own curves and dye spectra. Pick a film and its recommended paper comes with it. A slide film is scanned, never printed, because that is how slide film works. THE DARKROOM, BY HAND Change the enlarger's color, the exposure and the contrast, and the whole print is computed again from the negative. Nothing stacks; every move is a real change to how the print was made. Adjust, Darkroom and Crop sit on the step of the process that owns them. YOUR PHOTOS, YOUR LIBRARY Open any photo from your Photos library, including RAW, Apple ProRAW, HEIF and JPEG. Your originals are never changed: SpektraLab reads them in place and keeps its develops beside them. A CAMERA THAT LOADS A FILM FIRST (iPhone) Choose the roll before you press the shutter. Every frame you take lands in your library, ready to develop. Camera Control and the Lock Screen control bring you to it as soon as you unlock. BUILT FOR IPHONE AND IPAD One app for both, with one Plus. On iPad the library is laid out like Finder, and in landscape Develop gets a column of its own. SPEKTRALAB PLUS Plus adds the parts of the darkroom that go further: • Film Edge: the frame printed on its own strip, with rebate, perforations, edge code and frame numbers. • Date Back: the date, or the shooting data, exposed into the negative the way a camera back did it. • Half-frame pairs: two photos on one frame of film, each developed on its own. • The Light Table: your prints laid out at actual size. • Full-resolution export in JPEG, HEIF, PNG or TIFF, in sRGB, Display P3, Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB, and RAW export. • Files, linked folders and connected drives, and the camera above 12 MP. Without Plus you keep every color film and paper, every Develop and Edit tool, your Photos library, and 12 MP JPEG export. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No tracking. No analytics. Every develop runs on your device, and the app works offline. The only time it goes online is when you buy Plus through the App Store. — SpektraLab Plus is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time Permanent purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
