Latch is a game of pure deduction. Every puzzle has one solution, and you can always reason your way to it - no guessing, no luck, no timers rushing you. Just you and a grid that rewards a clear mind. The rule is simple: Place one node in every row, every column, and every colored region - and no two nodes may touch, not even diagonally. From that single rule comes a surprising depth of logic. Mark the cells you've ruled out, place your nodes with confidence, and watch the solution reveal itself. What's inside: • 1,000 verified puzzles - every one checked for a single solution and a path of pure logic. Grids stay a comfortable size; it's the reasoning that deepens, from spotting a single forced cell to deductions spanning several regions at once. • A new daily challenge - one fresh puzzle every day, the same for everyone. • Build your streak - solve each day to keep your streak alive, and watch it climb. • Clear, uncluttered design - bright, distinct colors and nothing on screen but the puzzle. • Learn in a minute - a quick walkthrough teaches you everything; the depth comes from you. • Ads you can switch off - one small purchase removes the banner and between-level ads, for good. • Play anywhere, offline - no account, no sign-up, no connection required. No pressure. No randomness. Just the quiet satisfaction of a puzzle that always makes sense. Think you can solve them all?

A logic puzzle you solve by reasoning, never by guessing. Every board is a grid split into coloured regions. Place one owl in each colour, one in each row, one in each column — and no two owls may touch, not even diagonally. That is the whole rule set. What grows is not the rules but what you can deduce from them. 614 LEVELS, IN ORDER The levels run as one path from a 5×5 you will solve in a minute to 10×10 boards that ask for real technique. Each is checked to have exactly one answer, so a board is always solvable by reasoning alone. HINTS THAT TEACH Stuck boards are where a puzzle game loses people. Tap the hint and Owldoku dims the board to the squares the argument is about, outlines the row, column or colour under discussion, and says in one sentence why the move follows. Eight techniques, each introduced by a board built to need it. The hint shows its reasoning; you can close it and find the move yourself. BUILT TO BE READ • Colour-blind mode draws the region borders as outlines, not hues • Two themes, light and dark • Tap for a cross, double-tap for an owl, drag to rule out a run of squares • Correct owls lock in place, so a solved part of the board stays solved • Your progress saves itself, mid-board included PLAYS OFFLINE No account, no sign-in, no network needed to play. Optionally, you can send anonymous notes on where you got stuck, which is what we use to tune the difficulty curve — the game is identical whether you do or not, and you can change your mind in Settings at any time.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Owldoku at none against Latch's 1. Owldoku also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
