RosterEye
Read full descriptionHide full description
RosterEye keeps a crew family in the loop. One person brings in their roster; everyone who loves them knows where they are, when they land, and when they are finally home. No more "has the flight landed yet?" at three in the morning. RosterEye already knows. ONE IMPORT. THE WHOLE MONTH RosterEye reads Emirates (EK), Etihad (EY) and FlyDubai (FZ) crew rosters today, and a household mixing them works the same way. Share the calendar file in, or subscribe to your roster link and it stays up to date. Every duty wears its color ā flights, standby, days off, leave, training, ground ā and layovers, rest days and report times are worked out for you. EVEN A PRINTED ROSTER WORKS Plenty of crew are never given a roster a calendar can read ā only a page to print. Hand RosterEye the PDF and it writes the month into your own phone calendar in seconds ā every flight, day off and report time. The file never leaves your phone; your family sees the month straight away. KNOW THE MINUTE THEY LAND ā LIVE, OR AN HONEST ESTIMATE While they are airborne, watch their airplane cross the real earth, the path it has actually flown drawn behind it. Running late, away early, diverted, landed: you are told ā and never told "landed" while they are still in the air. Every position says how fresh it is, and when we are working from the schedule rather than a live signal we say so: a confident wrong answer is worse than an honest one. THE WEATHER THERE, AND WHAT TO PACK Every destination carries its conditions, the forecast for the hour they land, and one line on what to pack ā 29 degrees at 84% humidity and 29 at 18% are very different suitcases. Celsius or Fahrenheit, your choice. HOME IN 1 DAY ā WITHOUT OPENING THE APP ⢠Home screen widgets: the next duty, a live countdown, "home in 1 day" ⢠A live flight on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, from take-off to touchdown ⢠Every airport in its own local time, daylight saving handled EVERYONE WHO LOVES THEM, IN THE LOOP ⢠Your invite link lets somebody straight in; a typed code waits for your approval ⢠You choose who follows whom, and sharing stops at any time with one switch ⢠Kid mode: a big, friendly "where is mum or dad" screen, left only by a parent's PIN ⢠Crew couples: both airplanes on one globe, a name beside each; a tap switches between them EVERY KILOMETER, ADDED UP Your year so far: nights away, days off, distance flown, favorite destinations. Then show people where you fly: the month as a poster of the planet, every city named, every route drawn, how far it all adds up to ā a picture or a short film with sound, signed with your first name and nothing more. YOUR NIGHT. YOUR DAY. YOUR CALL. A deep night appearance and a warm daylight one: follow your phone, or choose. Turn your text size up and every word stays whole. On an iPad, it is laid out for an iPad. FREE FOR THE FAMILY, AND IT WORKS ON THE PLANE Everyone who follows a crew member is free, forever ā only the crew side is ever paid. Your saved roster needs no signal: lose connection and RosterEye falls back to the schedule, never a blank screen. PRIVACY, TAKEN SERIOUSLY Colleagues named on your flights are never read, stored or shown, and staff numbers are not kept at all. Your roster is yours, and you decide who sees it. More is on its way: more airlines, deeper insights, things we cannot wait to show you. AN INDEPENDENT APP, NOT AN AIRLINE PRODUCT RosterEye is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by or connected to any airline. Airline names, codes and flight numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify a flight or to let you tell us which roster format you use. No airline logo or livery appears anywhere in the app. RosterEye is not an operational tool: times, positions and estimates can be wrong, late or missing, and must never be used to plan a journey or make any aviation decision.
Wakeyside

Wake up by light, or by sound. Wakeyside is a calm nightstand clock with an alarm made first for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and for anyone who wants to wake gently. SILENT ALARM ⢠No sound: the screen fills the room with light in a colour you choose, with five effects, from a slow breath to a storm. ⢠The camera light can flash with the alarm, for people who cannot hear it. ⢠Nothing flashes more than three times a second, and Reduce Motion keeps the light steady. ⢠The light and the flash work while Wakeyside is open on your nightstand, charging. Set an alarm a few minutes ahead to try it before you rely on it. Wakeyside does not replace a bed shaker or a smoke alarm. LISTEN FOR ME ⢠Lights up the room, flashes the camera light and can vibrate when it hears a sound you choose: a crying baby, a doorbell or knocking, an alarm, a barking dog and, if you turn it on, a siren or a horn in traffic. ⢠It listens on your iPhone with Apple's sound recognition, only while Wakeyside is open on the screen, and records nothing. It can be late or miss a sound, so it does not replace a smoke alarm, a baby monitor or your eyes on the road. WAKE UP YOUR WAY ⢠Choose the alarm's sound, from a bell or a deep pulse to gentle ones that start almost silent and only ever grow: ocean waves, dawn birds, forest, rain, a stream, chimes, a harp. A sunrise light can brighten the screen before the alarm. THE WEATHER WAKES YOU EARLIER ⢠When rain or snow is forecast, Wakeyside sets an extra alarm earlier, so the weather never surprises you. NEVER LATE FOR WORK ⢠Tell Wakeyside where you start, where you work and when you must be there. ⢠It asks Apple Maps how long the trip takes, with the traffic expected when you would leave. If there is a delay, an extra alarm rings earlier, in steps of five minutes, and the display tells you when to leave. ⢠It never rings later than your regular alarm. An alarm that is already set stays if Apple Maps cannot answer. ⢠A notification tells you when it is time to leave, with a heads-up before if you like, and says so when the traffic makes the trip much longer. It works with the alarm off too, for a day that starts at noon. ⢠The two places, your start and your destination, go to Apple Maps and nowhere else. A NIGHTSTAND WITH THE REAL SKY ⢠The sun and the moon stand exactly where they are over you now, with the moon's true phase, the stars and the clouds of the forecast. ⢠At night the clock dims by itself and turns red, like StandBy, easier on your eyes and your sleep. ⢠Made for OLED screens: the clock glides around, and the screen goes fully dark after the time you choose. Knock on the nightstand, pick the phone up, or change the room light, to wake it. YOUR DAY ON THE NIGHTSTAND ⢠If you allow it, the reminders that are due and your first event of the day appear on the display. Tick a reminder off with a tap. ⢠When your first event starts early, an extra alarm rings earlier, with time to get ready. It never rings later than your regular alarm. A SIMPLE WEEKLY SLEEP SUMMARY ⢠On the last morning of the week: about how long you were in bed, on how many nights you touched your phone, and how that compares with the hours recommended for your age. ⢠If you allow it, your sleep from Apple Health (from an Apple Watch or a sleep app) is used for the nights it has. Without it, the summary is estimated from your touches on the phone: about how long you were in bed, and whether you picked the phone up in the night. ⢠It is an estimate, not a medical measurement, and it is not a substitute for a doctor. PRIVATE ⢠No account, no ads, no tracking. Your places are kept on your iPhone and go only to Apple: your home place for the forecast and, if you use the trip to work, your start and destination for the travel time. Reminders, Calendar, Health (read only) and the sleep summary are read and kept on your iPhone only. Sounds are never recorded or sent. Available in English, Greek and German.
