TOIDO

Your to-do list should be the answer to a question. When everything feels urgent and nothing moves forward, it's usually because your tasks have drifted away from why they exist. TOIDO is a to-do app that starts with the question. You frame the real issues as questions, hang tasks beneath them, and focus on the few questions that actually change things. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT β’ Start with the question Write issues as questions ("How do weβ¦?", "Is it true thatβ¦?") and give each one a working hypothesis. Tasks become the moves that test that hypothesis β not a pile of disconnected chores. β’ Prioritize by impact, not urgency Rank issues by leverage β how much changes once the question is answered. Pick one or two questions to own this week and go deep. β’ GO β today's moves first Launch straight into your open to-dos, paired with the questions they serve. Today's moves sit on top, ordered by impact. β’ Answer the question When the work is done, turn your hypothesis into a conclusion and close the question for good. Answered questions stay, with their answers. β’ Inbox β capture without sorting Dump any thought straight into the Inbox. Later, ask "what's the question?" and connect it to an issue β or let it go, guilt-free. β’ Weekly review Clear floating tasks, revisit your questions, choose next week's focus. Anything you drop is logged and can come back anytime. β’ iCloud sync Your issues and tasks stay in sync across iPhone and Mac on the same Apple ID. β’ English & Japanese. Light & dark. Sidebar and keyboard shortcuts on Mac. You do the thinking. TOIDO just hands you the structure β and the question.

Write Markdown, inspect the document as a system, and publish a finished file without sending the text to a server. FrankenMarkdown keeps the source and rendered document together. The editor provides live syntax highlighting, line numbers, an outline, and an automatically updated preview. On iPad and Mac, source and output can remain visible side by side; iPhone uses focused lanes sized for the smaller display. Document Lab adds the tools needed for longer work: word and reading statistics, structure and accessibility checks, semantic comparison between revisions, polished document templates, and publishing controls. Multi-chapter projects can produce a continuous PDF or a self-contained site package. Export the current document as PDF or self-contained HTML. The bundled Rust rendering engine handles typography, tables, code, mathematical notation, and document structure locally. No account, advertising, tracking, or cloud processing is required. Your text stays on the device unless you choose to share an exported file.
