Unofficial study aid, published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government body or testing organisation and is not affiliated with Paragon Testing Enterprises, the University of British Columbia, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada. CELPIP-General is one of the English tests IRCC accepts for Express Entry and permanent residence. It is taken on a computer in one sitting: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Results are CELPIP levels, which match the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) one to one from level 3 to 12. WHAT THE APP CONTAINS ▸ 8 Listening and Reading sets built part by part like the test: Listening Parts 1 to 6 (38 questions on 8 recordings, Part 1 in three sections) and Reading Parts 1 to 4 (38 questions on 7 documents, with blanks to fill) ▸ 6 timed mock exams: Listening, then Reading with one timer per part (11, 9, 10 and 13 minutes). Replaying a mock draws each part from the 8 sets ▸ At the end of a complete mock, an estimated CLB range for Listening and for Reading, read through the approximate score table CELPIP publishes ▸ 1000 shorter practice questions by part type, for more than 1600 questions in all, across CLB 4 to 10 ▸ 1272 audio recordings, available offline: 716 Listening recordings with Canadian voices for the main speakers, 500 vocabulary clips and 56 Speaking model answers ▸ 56 Speaking tasks, 7 for each of the 8 task types, timed with the test's preparation and speaking times, with their pictures and a model answer to listen to ▸ 30 Writing prompts, each with both tasks: an email in 27 minutes and a survey response in 26 minutes, about 150 to 200 words, with model answers at CLB 5, 7, 9 and 10 ▸ 500 vocabulary cards with audio and spaced repetition ▸ Smart review of the questions you keep missing, and a custom session: your themes, number of questions and timer ▸ Every answer explained WHAT THE APP DOES NOT SIMULATE The test plays each recording once; the app lets you replay it. Voices are synthetic, and Listening Part 5 is audio with the speakers' names and a picture of the scene on screen, not a video. Blanks are shown as numbered questions under the text, and Listening Parts 4 to 6 show one question per screen. The CLB estimate applies CELPIP's public table to practice questions that Paragon has not calibrated: it is feedback, not a CELPIP result. Writing and Speaking are not marked, apart from the optional AI correction of your writing, and there is no examiner. IN PRACTICE ▸ Interface in English, French and Arabic (right-to-left); the content stays in English, the language of the test ▸ Works offline after the first launch; AI writing correction needs a connection and sends your text to Google for analysis, only after you agree ▸ No account, no adverts ▸ Free without a subscription: the Daily life theme, a few trial sessions and a mock exam preview ▸ Subscription (1 month, 3 months or 1 year) you can cancel at any time SOURCES ▸ CELPIP, Paragon Testing Enterprises: https://www.celpip.ca/ ▸ IRCC, Express Entry language test results: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements.html IMPORTANT CELPIP is a registered trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises.
