Cortexfall is an offline cyberpunk roguelike where every move matters. Descend into procedurally generated sectors, adapt your build to what you find, and fight the machines that seized the heart of the Grid. Nine modes revolve around turn-based tactics. The tenth, Overrun, drops deliberate turns for real-time survival. PLAN EVERY MOVE Navigate sectors packed with laser gates, explosive barrels, teleport pads, destructible walls, and ruthless machines. Break enemy line of sight, lure them into hazards, trigger chain explosions, and save your EMP for when things go bad. Four boss archetypes await, each with its own second phase and signature threat. SHAPE YOUR OPERATIVE Choose one of four distinct classes. Pick a weapon and an ability before the run, then collect chips, grenades, and augments as you go. Pierce enemy lines with a Railgun, strike from stealth with a Pulse Blade, hack an enemy and turn it against its allies, or deploy a combat drone. TEN WAYS INTO THE GRID - Complete five sectors in Story Mode - Push your local high score in Endless Run - Take one shot each day at a date-based seed in Daily Challenge - Fight through five back-to-back boss encounters in Boss Rush - Clear eight sectors against the clock in Time Attack - Solve tile logic and find the exit in Puzzle Grid - Hold out against escalating waves in Horde Arena - Create custom training runs and test builds without risk in Sandbox - Enter risky rooms and draft one of three perks at every level-up in Anomaly Zone - Face a rising swarm on an endless field in real-time Overrun MAKE EVERY REAL RUN COUNT Real runs, contracts, and achievements reward credits, Neuro-Cores, and more. Unlock new classes, weapons, abilities, skins, and permanent upgrades. Complete daily and weekly contracts, build weapon and ability mastery, uncover Codex entries, collect achievements, and improve your local records. Log at least five runs in a month to receive a detailed recap of how you played. DESIGNED FOR OFFLINE PLAY No account or internet connection is needed for gameplay. Play in English or Czech, with adjustable difficulty, controls, and text size. Accessibility options include colorblind-friendly palettes, a high-contrast grid, reduced motion, and a photosensitivity-safe mode. The Grid rewrites itself after every fall. Learn, refine your build, and see how much deeper you can go next time.
Hold Fire
Read full descriptionHide full description
Hold Fire is an offline turret defense game where you pull the trigger yourself: a roguelike tower defense shooter you can play with no wifi and no internet. Part defense game, part shooting game, all strategy. Hold your finger down: the cannon aims, heats up and fires. Between waves, place your turrets. Then do it again, a hundred times, all the way to the Leviathan. āø TWO GAMES IN ONE Turrets hold the lane while you cover what they cannot see: the jammer they ignore, the runner that outruns them, the flyer no mortar will ever catch. They will never be enough on their own. āø 100 WAVES, 10 SECTORS Ten lanes, ten field rules, ten bosses. A brand new enemy type every ten waves, and a boss that pushes to the extreme whatever it just taught you. Twenty-two foes in all, from the Grunt to the Leviathan. āø AIM FOR THE CORES White weak points take triple damage. One placed shot beats ten sprayed ones, and the cannon overheats if you never let go. āø 5 TURRETS, 7 UPGRADES Gatling, mortar, flak, tesla, missile launcher: each covers what the others let through. In the workshop: caliber, rate of fire, cooling, optics, piercing, volley and a second cannon, each with its own final breakthrough. āø A PACT AFTER EVERY BOSS Three deals on offer, only one signed, binding to the end of the run. More damage for less range, gold for hit points. Nothing comes free. āø EVERY RUN COUNTS A roguelite: waves reached earn fragments, fragments buy permanent modules. Seventeen of them: starting gold, base plating, turret blueprints, negotiated prices. The next run starts higher. āø OFFLINE, NO WIFI, NO ACCOUNT Everything lives on your device: this tower defense game runs with no wifi and no internet, on a plane or underground. No sign-up, no waiting, no lives to refill. A run starts in seconds. āø FREE, NO CATCH Nothing to buy. Every three waves, an ad may play during the build phase: the game is frozen while it runs, never in the middle of a wave. Another may appear between runs. After a run you can choose to watch a video to double your fragments or restart from the wave you fell on. No ad ever makes your cannon stronger. āø WHO IS IT FOR? Tower defense fans who want to aim for themselves, players looking for an offline shooting game with real strategy, and roguelike lovers who like a defeat that makes the next run stronger. Neon retro art, darksynth soundtrack. English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean. Hold the line.
