Monster Maker

Two or three people draw one monster together. Nobody sees the whole thing until it is finished. Somebody draws the head. Somebody draws the body. Somebody draws the legs, and nobody sees more than the last few marks the player before them left behind. Every part is a guess at what the rest might be. Then the paper opens, and you find out what you made. It is never what anyone intended. That is the point. HOW A GAME GOES Three turns, one creature: head, body, legs. With three players you take one part each. With two, one of you takes two turns. Pick how many are playing and you are drawing within a couple of taps. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who can draw. There is no reading, no timer, no score, so a five-year-old and a grandparent can play the same round and both be surprised at the end of it. - Families at the kitchen table, with a child who cannot spell yet but can absolutely draw a monster with eight eyes - The two of you on the sofa, a quiet evening in - Friends around a table, where the reveal is the whole event and somebody always laughs too loudly - Parties, where it goes around the room and everyone ends up leaning in to watch - Long car journeys, one phone travelling up and down the back seats - Waiting rooms, airports, and restaurants before the food arrives - Grandparents, cousins and old friends in other countries, each drawing their part whenever it suits them - Classrooms, clubs and rainy afternoons that need filling ON ONE DEVICE Pass the iPhone or iPad around. Your part folds away before you hand it over, so there is nothing to peek at and nobody has to be trusted. Games on one device work completely offline - in a tunnel, a plane or a cabin in the woods is fine. FROM YOUR OWN PHONES Send a link or a game code, and everyone draws their part from wherever they are, whenever it suits them. Nobody has to be in the same room, or awake at the same hour. DRAW HOWEVER YOU LIKE Ink, pencil, crayon and an eraser, with a fingertip or an Apple Pencil. Undo as often as you want. KEEP WHAT YOU MAKE Every finished monster goes into your gallery. Name them, share them, and find them again on your other devices. FOR PARENTS No ads. No accounts and no sign-up. No chat and no strangers. A remote game reaches only the people you send the link to, and nothing your child draws leaves the app unless you share it yourself. WHERE IT COMES FROM Monster Maker is built on "vika gubbe", a Swedish paper-and-pencil game families have played for generations: fold a sheet in three, draw your part, fold it away, pass it on. Same game, on paper that folds itself. License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Bread Defense
Read full descriptionHide full description
Before the last hearth went cold, the bread rose first. Bread Defense is a tower defense game where you place Dough and choose bread cards to stop the Moisties emerging from the Fog. Read the path and decide which loaf to bake, where to place it, and how to spend your limited Warmth. Build a defense with bread cards Place Dough on an empty space, then tap a loaf to see the cards you can bake next. Ingredients and baking order shape each bread's attacks and role. Combine anti-air loaves, slows, area attacks and support breads, and choose which enemies each loaf targets first. Recover part of the Warmth you spent when you need to rearrange your defense. Keep the bread warm Moisties disrupt your loaves with damp trails, spore clouds and boss Fog Tricks instead of destroying them. Watch the warnings and respond with support breads and Warm Wind. If danger reaches the hearth, your Baker and Assistant join the last stand. Your journey: three continents, 300 stages The current campaign stretches from Milbora through the Saltwind Isles to Spice Dusk: three continents and 300 stages. Discover how breads work together, then strengthen your defense with Gear, companions, and Warmth Ascension. The fourth continent will open in a later update as the journey grows. Previously cleared stages remain in your record. A bakery worth returning to Meet the Peddler's cart between waves, and try changing ingredients and baking rules in Today's Recipe. Test your plans in One-shot bake, Daily Dungeons, the Endless Oven and Guild content. Discover bread for your Collection, craft and equip Gear, and grow your Bakers, Assistants and hearths. A clearer little world Characters, bread, Gear and icons have a sharper look. Your home changes between dawn, day, dusk and night with your device's local time. Find quests on a noticeboard, recruitment at a market counter and attendance gifts on oven shelves. Instrumental music follows the chapter, wave and boss, while step-by-step guidance helps you learn your next move. Play in Korean, English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese or French, and change the language in Settings. You can start your adventure as a guest. Optional rewarded ads and in-app purchases are available. Bake a small loaf today, and keep the last ember glowing.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Monster Maker at none against Bread Defense's shown. Bread Defense's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
