About

REPUN

REPUN is an analog-minded chorus and vibrato processor for iPhone and iPad. Use it as a standalone audio app or insert the included AUv3 effect in a compatible host such as GarageBand. Its sound is built around BBD-style delay behavior, band limiting, compander contour, and controlled waveform instability. The result moves with tonal weight instead of sounding like a clean digital modulation layer placed on top of the source. FEATURES - BBD-style chorus and vibrato character - Free-running or host-tempo-synced modulation - Continuous dry-to-chorus-to-vibrato Mix control - Adjustable Rate and Depth - LFO Wave shaping - BREEZE drift and random-motion control - Instrument and line input modes - 2x and 4x processing modes - Standalone iOS/iPadOS app - AUv3 audio effect for compatible hosts TRY BEFORE UNLOCKING The working release model assumes 10 minutes of full-featured active use, shared between the standalone app and AUv3 extension. A one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase unlocks unlimited use in both formats, with Restore Purchases available in the standalone app. Confirm this behavior in the production build before submission. REPUN works on guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, pads, drones, and melodic layers that need width, instability, or animated pitch movement.

Features

Name the song. ManifesTone builds the whole rig. Not a preset — a rig. The right amp capture, the right pedals in the right order, the delay, the EQ. Then it tells you exactly what it chose, and why. HOW IT WORKS Type a song, or tap Shazam and it names the record playing in the room. Say what you're playing — rhythm, lead, clean verse — and CAPO goes to work. Capture, Amp, Pedal, Output: the four links of a guitar rig. It searches thousands of neural captures of real amps and pedals, picks gear that suits the song, sets the gain and EQ for the part you're actually playing, and places the effects in the order they belong in. Gate on the high-gain. Slapback on the lead. A room for the cleans. Then it writes out what it did, and credits whoever made the captures. SAY WHAT YOU WANT "Bit more bite." "Kill the reverb." "Tighter." Say it plainly and the rig changes. Most tweaks land instantly, on device. SWAP ANY PART Not sold on the amp it picked? Open the block, browse the capture library right there, and drop in a different one. The chain updates and the credits follow it. REAL CAPTURES, REAL MAKERS The amps and pedals are neural captures from TONE3000 — made by people who owned the gear and put the work in. ManifesTone connects to your own TONE3000 account. PLAY ANYWHERE Plug a USB audio interface into your iPhone or iPad and you're playing. The whole rig, pocket-sized, no laptop and nothing to boot up. Hear a tone you love out in the wild? Shazam it on the spot, CAPO builds the rig, and it saves to your library. Every rig syncs. Sit down at the desk and the same rig is waiting in the ManifesTone plugin for macOS and Windows — free with every account, including the free one. WHAT IT COSTS Free — one rig build a month, one guitar in your arsenal. No card. Plus — 18 builds a month, 5 guitars. $9.99/month or $89.99/year. Pro — 40 builds a month, 20 guitars, and an unlimited rig library. $19.99/month or $179.99/year. Prefer not to subscribe? Build packs are bought outright — 8, 18 or 40 builds. They never expire and there's nothing to cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Verdict

The call

REPUN and ManifesTone are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
