Record your swing at up to 240 frames per second, then step through it one frame at a time. CAPTURE • Up to 240fps on supported iPhones — a driver swing spread across hundreds of frames • Start and stop from your Apple Watch, so the phone can stay on the bag • Instant replay the moment a swing lands • Import swings you already shot at original quality — no re-compression, no lost frames — and trim a long clip down on the way in ANALYZE • Automatic body tracking — the skeleton follows you through the whole swing, with nothing to place by hand • Show only the parts you're looking at: head, spine, shoulders, arms, hands, hips, legs • Nine checkpoints found for you — address, takeaway, backswing, top, downswing, delivery, impact, follow-through, finish — on a phase bar under the scrubber. Tap one to jump to it; drag one if the app got it wrong and everything recomputes • The club's own path through the swing, tracked while the clip is analysed and drawn the moment you ask • Plane lines for down-the-line swings: two lines from the ball, through your trail hip and trail shoulder, fixed at address and held there. The wedge between them is the slot • Frame-by-frame stepping, 1x / 0.5x / 0.25x / 0.125x playback, and an A/B loop • Pinch to zoom; every overlay stays pixel-locked to you at any scale MEASURE, HONESTLY Tempo ratio. Spine angle at address and at impact, and how much of it you kept. Head drop. Hip sway and slide. Lead knee flex. Early extension. Shaft angle at address, and how far the shaft moved off it coming down. Lengths are in centimetres when the app can measure the scale of the picture, and in percent of your own height when it can't — inches from an uncalibrated camera would be invented. Every number names the frames it came from, and when tracking isn't good enough it says so instead of printing something. What one camera genuinely cannot see, the app refuses to guess at. COMPARE Two swings side by side, synced at impact — or one laid over the other as a ghost you can scale and drag into place. DRAW Angle tools, reference lines and freehand markup. EXPORT Burn the overlays in and share the clip — slow motion, annotations, skeleton, swing path, plane lines, phase markers. STROBE PRO One purchase, no subscription. It adds the coach with no account to set up, comparing two swings, and export with the overlays burned in. Everything else — capture, tracking, the checkpoints, every measurement and the drawing tools — is free and stays free. A COACH THAT POINTS AT THE FRAME (OPTIONAL) Off until you ask for it. It sends your swing measurements and a handful of key frames for a written read. What comes back is not a wall of prose. Every finding is anchored to one checkpoint: tap it and the player goes to that frame and marks it — the head, the line of the spine, the shaft — with the rest of the body dimmed. Walk the review a stop at a time, or ask a follow-up about any finding. Two ways to have a coach. Strobe Pro is one purchase, no subscription, with a monthly allowance of reviews and nothing to set up. Or connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google account with your own API key: it is kept in your device's Keychain, the provider bills you directly, and we take no cut. YOUR VIDEO STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Recording, tracking, checkpoints, metrics, drawing and export all run on-device. A coaching review sends only measurements and a few still frames — to Strobe's coach server, or straight to your own provider account — unless you switch on Send the clip to the coach. NOT INSTRUCTION This is an analysis tool, not a substitute for a qualified golf instructor, and not medical advice. Metrics are estimates from a single camera and can be wrong. Work within your own physical limits, and see a professional for coaching or a clinician for pain or injury. WHAT YOU NEED iPhone running iOS 26 or later. 240fps capture depends on your iPhone model — the app falls back to 120fps or 60fps and says which it's using.

Verdict
The clearest difference is iOS requirement: One Fix Golf at 17.0 against Strobe's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
