Golf Swing Partner
Read full descriptionHide full description
Set your iPhone or iPad on a tripod facing you, swing, and look up: the swing you just made is already playing on the screen, a few seconds late. No need to press record, stop or rewind. Free on one device. Golf Swing Partner shows the camera with a delay you choose (2 to 20 seconds), so there is always time to finish your swing, look up and watch it. Every shot, automatically. ■ DELAYED REPLAY, HANDS-FREE - The screen always shows the video from a few seconds ago (2–20 s, 6 s to start) - Normal speed and full screen: your swing exactly as it happened - Switch between Live and Delay with one tap - The screen stays on while you practice ■ YOUR CAMERA AT ITS BEST - Front camera to watch yourself like a mirror, or the main camera for the sharpest picture - Up to your device's maximum resolution and frame rate (up to 4K, up to 240 fps where supported). Higher frame rates mean less blur on the club and hands - Pinch to zoom, double-tap to reset ■ TWO DEVICES Film with one device and watch on the other: set one to Camera and the other to Monitor. They connect directly to each other, so no Wi-Fi network or router is needed; just turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. After the first pairing they reconnect by themselves. Change the camera's settings and zoom from the monitor. ■ RECORD YOUR SWINGS Tap record to start and tap again to stop. The video is saved to the Photos app. ■ FREE AND PRO - Free: delay playback on one device with no time limit, and the two-device link for up to 5 minutes - Pro (one-time purchase, no subscription): unlimited two-device link and recording, on all your devices with the same Apple Account ■ PRIVACY No account and no data collected. Video stays on your devices, and recordings go only to your Photos library. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.

Verdict
SwingLoop and Golf Swing Partner are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SwingLoop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Golf Swing Partner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
