Camera glasses announce themselves over Bluetooth. ZuckOff listens for those announcements and tells you when a lens is in the room. ■ What it spots • Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, by the manufacturer signature in their Bluetooth advertisement • Snap Spectacles • Display glasses and headsets, including Quest and Vision Pro, are named in the log but never flagged: a headset is a camera you can see coming • The full list, and how each one is recognised, is in the app ■ The evidence, shown • Every flag lists what matched, whether that was a manufacturer ID, a service UUID or an advertised name • Confidence is rated possible, likely or strong, and the app says which • You can disagree with it, because the reasoning is never hidden ■ Every device, logged • Sightings keeps a record of all Bluetooth devices heard nearby, glasses or not • A signal timeline for each device • Own a pair yourself? Mark them once and they stop raising alerts ■ On Apple Watch • Check around me scans from your wrist for fifteen seconds and shows the same evidence as the iPhone • Meeting mode, part of Pro, keeps scanning until you tap Stop and buzzes when a pair turns up • watchOS only lets the watch listen while ZuckOff is open on its screen. With Always On that includes time with your wrist down, and the Return to Clock setting can stretch it to an hour • With Pro, a watch face can show the last verdict from your iPhone ■ On your Mac • ZuckOff for Mac is on the Mac App Store, for macOS 15 or later. It listens from the menu bar or the Dock • Pro bought on your iPhone unlocks it on a Mac signed in with the same Apple Account ■ Shortcuts and Siri • Start scan, Stop scan, Get scan status and Get suspect count work in the Shortcuts app, in automations and with Siri • An automation can stop the scan when you get home, even with ZuckOff closed, and start it again when you leave • Starting a scan with ZuckOff closed needs Pro with background scanning on. Without Pro the action asks to open the app ■ How close, not which way • Signal strength gives a rough distance and no direction at all • ZuckOff shows proximity bands rather than an arrow, because an arrow would be invented ■ What it cannot do • Glasses advertise loudest while powering on, pairing, or leaving the case. Once paired to their owner's phone they can go quiet, so silence here does not mean nobody is recording • A detection does not mean anyone is recording either. ZuckOff sees that a device is nearby and nothing about what its owner is doing with it ■ Your data stays on your phone • No account, no analytics • The log never leaves unless you export it yourself, or choose to send a hardware report for a device ZuckOff does not recognise, so new glasses can be added later • A report shows you exactly what it contains before anything is sent • Your iPhone shares its last verdict with your paired Apple Watch and nothing else ■ ZuckOff Pro Scanning is free and always will be. Pro is for the times you are not looking at the screen: background monitoring, alerts, the Live Activity, the Home Screen widget, meeting mode and the watch face on Apple Watch, sighting history beyond 24 hours, and CSV export. $9.99 per year, with the first week free. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and renewals are managed in Settings on your device. A lifetime option is also available: one payment, no subscription, Family Sharing on. One purchase covers iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac. ZuckOff is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Meta Platforms, Luxottica, Ray-Ban, Oakley or Snap. Rune Clock
Read full descriptionHide full description
Rune Clock is an objective timer for Dota 2. It sits next to your keyboard and shows, in one enormous number, how long until the next thing spawns. You can read it without picking the phone up. THE BIG NUMBER The next objective fills the screen, colour-coded to what it is. Ten seconds out it starts to pulse and the phone buzzes. When it lands the screen flashes NOW for three seconds, so you catch it even if you looked away at the wrong moment. Underneath sits a row of everything else on its way. THE CLOCK IS YOURS There is no Steam connection, no overlay and no account. You tell it what time it is: tap SYNC and type the in-game clock, nudge it ten seconds or a minute either way if you have drifted, or restart at 0:00 on the horn. The clock is anchored to real time rather than counting ticks, so it stays right while the phone is locked or face down on the desk. ROSHAN AND TORMENTOR Tap when Rosh dies and you get the window: earliest to latest, counting down, then UP. Tormentor works the same way. EVERY TIMING IS EDITABLE Power runes, bounty runes, water runes, wisdom shrines, lotuses, neutral item tiers, Tormentor, camp stacking and the day/night cycle. Switch off the ones you do not care about, and edit the first spawn and interval of any of them. Patches move these numbers around. When that happens you correct it yourself in Settings instead of waiting for an app update. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. The only thing the app sends is anonymous usage statistics (which screens were shown and subscription steps), with no identifier, to our own server. Nothing personal about you or your phone is collected. SUBSCRIPTION Rune Clock is a subscription app. Subscribing starts a 1 month free trial, after which it is $4.99 per month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Any unused part of the free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
