When standard time radio signals do not reach your area, or walls and interference prevent your watch from receiving themβ€”Tick Sync provides another path to the correct time. Start with radio-controlled watch assistance. Place the watch near the built-in speaker of your iPhone or iPad and begin manual reception. Tick Sync generates time codes for JJY 40/60, WWVB, MSF, DCF77, and BPC, helping the watch attempt synchronization over a very short distance. For explicitly compatible Bluetooth watches, pair and connect the watch, wait until it is ready to sync, and then send the current local time manually. With Advanced Features, Tick Sync can maintain an eligible Bluetooth connection in the background. When the watch reconnects and becomes ready, Tick Sync normally obtains a fresh NTP correction and sends the time automatically, reducing the need to open the app for every sync. Background timing is determined by iOS or iPadOS and watch connection events rather than an exact schedule. Your time source is not limited to the device’s system clock. Free Single NTP mode queries a server you choose. Multi-NTP mode compares at least three independent sources, finds a majority-agreed time range, rejects inconsistent responses, and displays estimated uncertainty. HIGHLIGHTS β€’ Very-short-range JJY 40/60, WWVB, MSF, DCF77, and BPC radio-controlled watch assistance β€’ Manual and background automatic Bluetooth time sync for explicitly compatible watches β€’ System Time, Single NTP, and Multi-NTP sources β€’ NTP server management, optional location preselection, outlier rejection, and uncertainty estimates β€’ Watch battery level display β€’ No account required Radio assistance, manual Bluetooth time sync, System Time, and Single NTP are free. Background automatic Bluetooth sync and Multi-NTP features require an auto-renewing annual Advanced Features subscription. Tick Sync is an independent utility and is not affiliated with any watch manufacturer. Bluetooth compatibility depends on the watch model and firmware, while background operation depends on iOS or iPadOS and watch connection events. A successful Bluetooth write does not guarantee that the watch applied or displayed the new time. An iPhone or iPad does not transmit a normal 40–77.5 kHz longwave broadcast. Radio-assisted results vary with the device, watch hardware, volume, placement, and interference. Always verify the final time independently before relying on it. Watch Accuracy

A mechanical watch does not keep one rate. It keeps six β€” one for every position it can rest in. That is the whole idea behind this app. Catch the second, log where the watch spent the night, and the app solves the rest: how many seconds a day it gains or loses worn, and how many it gains or loses lying dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down, crown left or crown right. THE ONE ANSWER IT GIVES Tonight, rest it dial down β€” and tomorrow you are +1 second instead of +6. That single line is the product. A watch that runs fast on the wrist usually runs slow in at least one resting position, and choosing that position every night is how collectors and watchmakers have flattened daily rate for a century. It costs nothing, it touches no screw, and until now nobody kept the arithmetic for you. HOW A READING WORKS Watch the seconds tick on screen. Tap the moment your watch shows a full second, set what it showed, and say where it rested since the last reading. Two taps and a pick. That is the entry. WHAT IT WORKS OUT β€’ A rate for every resting position, solved from your own readings with a least-squares fit β€” not a single average pretending to be the truth. β€’ A confidence level per position, so a number built on one night is never dressed up as a settled one. β€’ The drift curve: where your watch will be in 7, 14 or 30 days, with your own reset band drawn across it. β€’ The day it crosses that band, so you set the watch before it annoys you rather than after. β€’ Power reserve since the last wind, for automatics and hand-wound movements. WHAT IT IS NOT It is not a timegrapher. It does not listen to your watch through the microphone and it never claims to measure amplitude or beat error. It measures the thing you actually live with β€” how far off the watch is, day after day β€” and it does that without a microphone, without hardware and without a subscription to anyone's cloud. It is also not a service manual. A movement running far outside its range needs a watchmaker, and the app says so instead of pretending otherwise. ALSO β€’ Any number of watches, automatic, hand-wound or quartz. Quartz skips the position engine and just shows its rate. β€’ Reset, regulation, service and winding logged β€” a reset never poisons the fit. β€’ A recurring subscription, with the first period at a reduced price β€’ Or a one-time purchase that never renews The βˆ’4/+6 seconds a day range offered as a target is the published chronometer window. This app carries no certification and claims no connection to any standards body. Watch Log Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of that period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
