About

ClearWave

Water in your speaker? Push it out with sound. A splash in the sink, rain on the way home, a few minutes too long in the shower โ€” trapped water muffles your speaker and turns music, calls and alarms into a distant hum. ClearWave plays precisely tuned low-frequency tones that vibrate the speaker membrane and force the water back out through the grille. No rice. No cables. No taking the phone apart. Just sound. HOW IT WORKS A speaker makes sound by moving a thin membrane. ClearWave drives that membrane with a strong low tone โ€” around 165 Hz in the main mode โ€” and the movement pushes trapped droplets out of the opening. Hold the phone with the speaker facing down and let the cycle run. FIVE CLEANING MODES โ€ข Speaker โ€” the standard 30-second water-eject cycle for the loudspeaker โ€ข Earpiece โ€” a gentler cycle for the earpiece at the top of the phone โ€ข Microphone โ€” clears dust and debris around the microphone port โ€ข Deep Clean โ€” a longer sweep across a wider frequency range for stubborn water โ€ข Custom โ€” pick the frequency yourself, anywhere from 20 Hz to 20 kHz SOUND TEST After a cycle, check the result. Play left, right or stereo and hear straight away whether the speaker is clear again. FREQUENCY GENERATOR A full 20 Hz โ€“ 20 kHz tone generator with sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waveforms โ€” for testing headphones, checking your hearing range, or setting up speakers. WHY CLEARWAVE โ€ข Completely free, with no ads anywhere in the app โ€ข Works offline โ€” no account, no sign-up โ€ข The volume rises smoothly instead of blasting at full power โ€ข Volume is limited automatically when headphones are connected โ€ข Cleaning history, so you know when you last ran a cycle โ€ข English, Russian and Uzbek โ€ข Small download, light on the battery FOR THE BEST RESULT 1. Take the case off 2. Turn the volume up โ€” the app does this for you 3. Hold the phone with the speaker pointing down 4. Run a cycle, wipe the water away, and repeat if it still sounds muffled PLEASE NOTE ClearWave helps eject water sitting in the speaker opening. It cannot repair a speaker that is already damaged, and it is not a replacement for professional service if the phone has taken a serious soaking. Do not hold the phone against your ear while a cleaning cycle is playing. ClearWave is free and stays free. If it saved your speaker, there is an optional tip inside the app โ€” nothing is locked behind it.

About

Ejecta

Features

Water in your speaker? Press one button. Ejecta plays a low tone that makes the speaker cone travel far enough to push the water out through the grille. It is the same trick the Apple Watch uses, and it takes a minute. THE FREE CYCLE IS FREE FOREVER Sixty seconds of real ejection โ€” bursts at the frequency that moves a speaker cone furthest, then a sweep across the band, four passes. The same shaking knocks loose dust off the grille, so it helps there too. No trial, no countdown, no card. POWER EJECT, IF YOU WANT IT Two minutes, louder, six passes and a wider frequency sweep for a speaker that is still muffled. One purchase, and it is yours forever. DUST CYCLE Ninety seconds of higher, faster tones, aimed at loose dust instead of water. A droplet needs the cone to travel, which is why the water cycles sit low; a speck of dust needs it to shake, so this one works an octave and a half further up. SPEAKER TEST Play one channel at a time and hear which speaker is quiet, buzzing or muffled. Your ear does the judging โ€” nothing here invents a score. TONE GENERATOR Hold any tone from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with presets. For testing gear, checking your hearing range, or finding a rattle. WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It cannot clear your charging port โ€” there is no speaker in there to push with. It does not dry anything: the water is physically shoved out, not evaporated. It shakes loose dust off a grille, but it cannot lift dirt packed in over months โ€” that needs a soft dry brush, and the app tells you so. There is no moisture meter in this app, because a phone cannot measure that, and any app showing you a percentage is making it up. The in-app tips page says all of this before you buy anything. NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO ACCOUNT. NO PERMISSIONS. Ejecta asks for nothing โ€” not the microphone, not your contacts, not an email address. Audio only goes out. One optional purchase, Family Sharing included. Turn the volume all the way up and point the speaker at the floor. That is the whole instruction. Requires iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
