Wrist Novel Reader is a local novel reader for both your phone and your Apple Watch. It supports importing local e-books such as TXT and EPUB (EPUB files are converted to TXT automatically), and you can also share a novel straight into the app from the Files app. Read on the phone and on the watch, with reading progress synced between them. On Apple Watch you can open a novel and read it full screen. Turn pages by tapping, using the double-tap gesture, rotating the Digital Crown, or let it turn pages automatically (the interval is adjustable) — and you can also switch to vertical scroll reading, which moves down chapter by chapter. Tap the top-left corner to bring up the Back, Contents and Settings buttons. Jump to the previous or next chapter in one tap, open the full table of contents to go to any chapter, and pick up right where you left off. Put on headphones and turn on the audiobook: your watch reads the novels in your library aloud, at an adjustable speed, and keeps playing with the screen off. On the phone you can manage your shelf, import novels, split an oversized file into several books by chapter, adjust font size, line spacing, margins and themes, or read with swipe page turning, continuous vertical scrolling, search in the contents, switch chapters and sync progress. The phone also supports audiobook and auto page turn: it reads a novel aloud at an adjustable speed and keeps playing on the lock screen, while auto page turn flips pages by interval in page mode and scrolls at a steady speed in scroll mode. In the book details you can also set a custom cover, edit the title and author, convert between Simplified and Traditional Chinese in one tap, or export the novel as an EPUB to share with others. Read to a page on your phone and continue on your watch; wherever you stop on the watch, your phone picks it up automatically. Made for people who like to organize their library on the phone and read comfortably on the watch — making novel reading simpler and more portable.
Persimmon Reader

Persimmon is a simple, focused ebook reader built around one thing: reading. The interface stays out of your way and leaves as much room as possible for the book. No annotations, no AI features, no clutter—just open a book and read. Page turns are carefully tuned to feel responsive and natural. They follow your finger, stay smooth through fast repeated swipes, and are designed for people who read quickly. You can also rapidly flip through pages, a bit like thumbing backward through a paperback. Your library and reading progress can sync for free through your own cloud storage, so there’s no separate Persimmon account to create. Just use your existing cloud drive and keep reading across devices. Your books and reading data stay on your device unless you choose to sync them. Even then, they go directly to your own cloud drive.
