It's Only About EVERYTHING! Timeline is a history race. Every question gives you four real people, inventions, disasters, songs, discoveries or landmarks — you put them in order from earliest to most recent. Get it right and your token drops a row toward the finish line. Get it wrong and you slide sideways along the row and lose ground. First across the checkered line wins. The board is a 7x7 grid of categories that snakes left, right, left. There is no multiple choice and no luck — just what you know, how fast you know it, and how few turns it takes you to cross. WAYS TO PLAY • Solo Race — pick your difficulty and clock, generate a board you like, and chase your best run. • Daily Board — one shared board for everybody, one attempt, every day. • Game of the Week — finish three daily boards to unlock the big one: mixed medium-to-expert, 30 seconds, no clues. Your run is your tournament entry. • Challenges — invite friends by @username and race the exact same board. • Private Room — share a code, up to six players. • Pool Match — get matched with someone playing your difficulty and clock. • Assembly — big-screen group play for classrooms, family nights and parties. TIMELINE POINTS TP is the score that matters. Harder tiers pay more, a tighter clock multiplies everything, clues cost you, and the fewest turns keeps the most. Weekly TP resets every Monday; career TP never does. Skill tiers, levels, streaks and achievements track the long game. THOUSANDS OF QUESTIONS Events and disasters, famous people, inventions and discoveries, structures and monuments, rulers and leaders, arts, literature, sports and entertainment — spanning the ancient world to the present day. LEARN THE HISTORY Every event has a lesson page with the story behind it and cited sources. Miss a question and you're shown the correct order immediately, so you actually learn instead of just losing. FULL REPLAYS AND RECAPS Watch every player's token race down the board turn by turn after a match, review the questions you missed, see the order you picked, and read exactly how your points were scored and how ties were broken. Designed by a lifelong history buff and built for phones, tablets and the web. No ads. Free to play.

The museum is open. Do you know who's inside? Whoseum is a daily word puzzle built around the most fascinating people who ever lived. Every day a new famous figure steps into the Grand Hall — and it's your job to name them. Every answer is a five-letter surname, from history's giants to today's icons. Picasso or Pollock? Newton or Curie? Caesar or Cleopatra? Guess letter by letter, and with each try the tiles flip and color-code your letters, closing you in on the name. But here's the twist: you're never guessing blind. A clue greets you before your first move, and a sharper one is revealed after every miss — general at first, then closer and closer to the answer. A silhouette hints at who's waiting behind the tiles. And win or lose, a museum placard reveals the full name, a short story of their life, and a link to learn more. HOW IT WORKS • Name the famous five-letter surname in six guesses • Tiles flip and color-code every letter you try • Six clues per puzzle, revealed one at a time — the more you miss, the more you learn • Solve the daily and your streak lives on. Miss it, and the museum quietly closes its doors until tomorrow. EXPLORE THE HALLS Beyond the daily Grand Hall, Whoseum houses eight permanent collections you can wander any time — no timer, no daily limit: • Artists & Composers • Athletes • Inventors • Movies & TV Stars • Rulers & Statesmen • Scientists • Social Media Stars • Writers Hundreds of legendary figures to discover at your own pace — each hall tracks its own progress and its own win streak, so there's always another name waiting to be uncovered.
