Flightmap vs Excel Public School

Flightmap puts a clean VFR chart in your pocket — airspace, aerodromes, frequencies, routes, and weather, ready when you are. See the chart clearly • VFR-style map with airspace overlays you can actually read • Tap any airspace for class, limits, and frequencies • Aerodromes with details and one-tap fly direct • Built-up areas, heights, satellite, and layer controls that stay out of your way • Official AIP plates open from the aerodrome when you need them PLAN SIMPLE ROUTES FAST • Long-press to drop pins and build multi-leg tracks in seconds • Bend the route for this trip without cluttering saved pins • Live leg and total time estimates from GPS or your cruise speed • Import and export GPX so your routes move with you Weather along the route: • Forecast cards along your track, not just at one airport • 0–24 hour time slider to scrub conditions ahead • Powered by MET Norway (Yr) Fly with your region • Download NZ, AU, or US packs from the world map • Cache maps for smoother offline use • GPS follow: Free, North up, or Track up • Optional nearby traffic and ADS-B tools when you want them Built for pilots who want a fast, modern companion for awareness and planning — without the clutter. Flightmap is a situational awareness companion, not a certified navigation system. Always cross-check with current official AIP / charts before flight.
