Slipangle

Ride data is only useful when you can trust it. Slipangle is a focused telemetry recorder for riders and drivers who care whether the numbers are right. Mount your iPhone, start a ride, and capture lean angle, speed, g-force, elevation, gradient, distance, duration, and more. No extra hardware required. MEASURED, NOT GUESSED Most ride trackers tell you where you went. Slipangle is built to show how your vehicle moved. For motorcycles, lean angle comes from motion sensors and sensor fusion instead of being inferred from GPS position changes alone. Speed uses Doppler-based GPS data with strict quality checks to reject impossible spikes. Elevation changes come from the barometer rather than noisy GPS altitude. When a tunnel or weak signal interrupts GPS, Slipangle marks estimated sections clearly. Invalid samples stay out of max speed and lean angle. You see what was measured, what was estimated, and why. EXPLORE EVERY RIDE • Replay your route on a color-coded map • View synchronized charts for speed, lean angle, acceleration, and elevation • Scrub the map and charts together to inspect any moment • Compare left and right lean with a dedicated histogram • Review distance, moving time, average speed, maximum values, and route curviness • Share a clean ride summary BUILT FOR MORE THAN BIKES Choose a motorcycle, car, or quad profile. Slipangle adapts the analysis to the vehicle: • Motorcycle: lean angle and cornering • Car: longitudinal and lateral g-force • Quad or ATV: tilt, terrain, and elevation RECORD WITH CONFIDENCE • Full-screen speedometer with a live lean gauge • Background recording with crash recovery • Automatic pause and stop detection • Metric and imperial units • Optional dimmed live map for road context • Data quality flags for estimated or degraded sections PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No ads. We do not sell your ride data. Core ride recording works offline. Ride files stay on your device unless you choose to use iCloud sync, export, or share. START FREE The free version includes ride recording, core telemetry, maps, standard charts, the digital speedometer, and one active vehicle. Slipangle Pro adds access to your complete ride history, unlimited vehicles, advanced analysis, ride comparisons, personal stats, GPX, CSV and JSON export, widgets, Live Activities, Shortcuts, and iCloud sync. Slipangle is designed for post-ride analysis and self-assessment. Keep your attention on the road and follow local laws. DOWNLINK

DOWNLINK is a sports telemetry camera. It records your ride and draws your speed, lean angle, G-force, altitude and route onto the video — saved into the file. INSTRUMENTS FOR EVERY ACTIVITY • Motorcycle: lean angle arc, deepest lean each side, G-force • Car / Track: route panel, cornering G, 0–100 and 0–60 timer • Bicycle: grade, elevation strip, climb and descent • Ski / Snowboard: slope, vertical drop, run count LIVE MAP The minimap turns with your heading, zooms out as you speed up and draws the road you have ridden over Apple Maps. Switch it off in Settings when a start or finish should stay private. ONE-TAP REEL When you stop, DOWNLINK finds the best moments in the telemetry — top speed, deepest lean, tightest hairpin — and cuts a 15-second vertical video: the route draws itself on the map, then each moment slows into its peak. Ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. RIDE SUMMARY AND SHARE IMAGE Top and average speed, distance, climb, route and place name on one page. Make an image of the ride with the route on the map, with the start and finish hidden if you like. HONEST NUMBERS Every value comes from this phone's own GPS, barometer and motion sensors. When a sensor has no reading, the display says SIM instead of guessing. Lean and G assume the phone is mounted upright; phone GPS updates about once a second — a good record of the ride, not timing equipment. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your videos and rides stay on your phone. Free: record with one activity and the Drive instruments. DOWNLINK PRO unlocks every activity, the ride summary, the share image and reels without the watermark with a single purchase. Screenshot and preview footage: A. Thiessen, roadstertouren, J. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: DOWNLINK at none against Slipangle's shown. Slipangle's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
