Inkday

Inkday is a private journal that's yours alone. We believe something simple: your journal is yours. Inkday runs no servers and cannot see your content. Everything β your writing, photos, videos, audio, moods, tags, location, weather, calendar snapshots, and anniversaries β is stored only in your own iCloud, syncing quietly across iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your Apple ID (activity data is the exception: it stays only on the device that captured it, and isn't synced through iCloud). No account to create, no third-party sign-in, no ads, no cross-app tracking (only anonymous device and OS-version statistics and crash reports, to improve stability). β Capture every day - One clean, text-first entry a day, at a glance on the calendar - Add photos, short clips, and voice notes to any entry - Tap any photo or video for a full-screen view, swipe through the day's media, pick a daily cover, or save media back to Photos or a file - Organize life with moods and tags; filter and revisit anytime - Auto-record where you were and the weather as you write (optional); search a landmark or nearby place to set where the day happened - Snapshot that day's calendar events into the entry, so you can look back even after switching calendars or phones (choose which calendars to include) - On iPhone and iPad, automatically save that day's activity from Health into the entry: active energy is free, while Inkday Pro also records steps, exercise minutes, and full workouts (type, duration, distance, pace, heart rate, and more). This stays only on the device where it was captured, not synced with the entry (can be turned off anytime) β Remember the days that matter - Anniversaries: record the day you got together, a birthday, or a day to count down to; Inkday works out the years, months, and days that have passed (or just the total days), or how many days remain - Reminders on day 100, 500, 1000 and every anniversary; that day is also marked in your diary, calendar, and list, and one tap adds the sentence to your entry - (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) Lock Screen, Home Screen, and watch face widgets show how long it's been, or how many days are left, at a glance - Import events straight from your Calendar, or turn a day's event in your diary into an anniversary - Free for up to 3 anniversaries; Inkday Pro removes the limit, adds custom colors and milestone intervals, and lets you look back on each past anniversary with On This Day β Look back, gently - Media calendar: browse a whole month as photo thumbnails and switch freely between List and Calendar, like an album; scroll all the way back to any past date to backfill older entries - "On This Day" brings back the same day in years past - See your writing streaks and most-used moods - A footprint map shows the places you've been β Built for privacy - Your data lives only in your own iCloud; the developer can't access it - No accounts, no ads, no cross-app tracking (only anonymous stability statistics) - Built-in App Lock: protect the whole app with a PIN and Face ID / Touch ID (free) β Your data, portable - Import from other journaling apps to move in easily - Export your entire journal to a file anytime for a full backup β Three platforms, one journal - Shared across iPhone, iPad, and Mac; syncs automatically with one Apple ID - Seven warm, papery themes, with dark mode (follow the system, or stay light or dark) The core is free forever, including location tagging and the footprint map. Inkday Pro unlocks extra themes, weather, calendar snapshots, full workout records, statistics, unlimited anniversaries, and export backups β available as a yearly plan, a monthly plan, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Tired of renewing? Inkday lets you buy it once. Every day of yours deserves to be kept well. I've always loved keeping a journal. But in everyday life, sometimes it's not that I don't want to write. I'm just too tired to do anything except lie down and scroll through my phone. So I wanted to make a journal app that didn't ask me to take journaling too seriously. A cute little place to come whenever I feel like writing something down. And that's how PuffLog came to life. Write a few lines about your day. Add a photo. Add a few favorite stickers. Pick a mood. And when you don't feel like writing anything at all, you can simply draw a tiny pixel expression. That's it. Just a little place to keep the small moments from everyday life. What's inside PuffLog? 1. A Pixel Journal You Can Make Your Own Mix text, photos, stickers, and moods in the same journal entry. Write a whole page if you want. Or just write: "Exhausted." Your journal doesn't have to follow any rules. 2. Lots of Cute Pixel Stickers See something you like? Add it to your journal. A little weather sticker today. A slice of cake tomorrow. Maybe a random cat just because you feel like it. Arrange everything however you want. It's your journal. 3. Photo Journaling Sometimes you just don't feel like writing. That's okay. Add a photo instead. A really good meal. A place you loved. A pretty sky. Little moments are worth keeping, too. 4. Draw Your Mood Maybe today feels pink. Draw it pink. Maybe you're having a terrible day. Draw yourself with a grumpy little face. Sometimes a tiny pixel drawing can say what words can't. 5. 14 Pixel Animal Companions Meet 14 adorable pixel friends, each with their own personality. Tap on them and they might even have something to say. When you're writing in PuffLog, it can feel a little like having a tiny companion hanging out in your room. 6. Cozy Music & Sound Effects I also added some of the music and sound effects I've made myself. So when you open PuffLog, you're not just looking at your journal. There are little sounds and cozy music playing in the background, too. Just something to keep you company in your little pixel room. 7. Home Screen Widgets Put your favorite journal entries, moods, and little companions right on your home screen. Every time you pick up your phone, you can see a little piece of your own world. 8. Turn Your Entries Into Shareable Cards Sometimes you write an entry you really love. You can turn it into a cute journal card and share it with others. Your photos, thoughts, and little moments can become a tiny snapshot of your life. 9. Dreamy Colors & Backgrounds I love playing with colors, so PuffLog comes with lots of soft, dreamy themes. Change the colors and it feels like opening a brand-new journal. Soft pink today. Calm blue tomorrow. Let your journal match your mood. 10. Private, Local & Password Protected Your journal is personal, so privacy matters to me. Your journal data is primarily stored locally on your device, and you can set a passcode to keep your journal private. And because I don't think a little journal should come with a monthly bill: PuffLog is a one-time purchase. No subscription. No recurring payments. I didn't make PuffLog to turn you into someone who journals every single day. Honestly, I know how many days can go by without writing anything at all. I just wanted that whenever you suddenly feel like remembering something, there would be a little place on your phone where you can sit down comfortably for a moment. Write a few words. Add a few pictures. Spend a little time with your feelings. Then maybe come back a few months later and think: "Oh, I was doing that back then." "Wow, I was so happy that day." "Okay, I was actually kind of cute." And that's enough. I hope PuffLog becomes that little room on your phone that you occasionally want to come back and visit. Thank you for supporting an independent developer.
