Marko is a fast, native Markdown reader for iPhone and iPad. Open any .md file and read it the way it was meant to look, with real typography, syntax-highlighted code, GFM tables and task lists, Mermaid diagrams, and KaTeX math. Everything renders on your device with no network access, so your documents never leave it. Marko is a reader, not an editor. It never changes your files. Open Markdown straight from the Files app, or share it in from Mail, Safari, or any other app, and read it full-screen with an outline, find in page, and adjustable text size. It is built for the Markdown you didn't write by hand, too: the .md that AI assistants and coding agents produce, generated READMEs, and agent output. LISTEN TO ANY DOCUMENT Read Aloud speaks the rendered document and highlights each sentence as it goes, so you can follow along or put the phone down. Start anywhere with Read from Here, adjust the speaking rate, and control it from the Lock Screen. Ask Siri to read a document and it starts hands-free. DOCUMENT INTELLIGENCE, ON DEVICE Summarize a long document, ask questions about it, or explain a selected passage. Marko can explain a Mermaid diagram too, reading the diagram itself. All processed on your device with Apple Intelligence. Nothing is sent to a server. (Requires iOS 26 or later on a device with Apple Intelligence. Explaining diagrams requires iOS 27.) TRANSLATE WITHOUT LEAVING THE PAGE Translate a document into another language in place, then switch back to the original. On device, offline, once the language is downloaded. (Requires iOS 26.4 or later.) PICK UP WHERE YOU STOPPED Marko remembers where you were in every document. For documents in iCloud Drive, that position follows you to your other devices, and Handoff moves the document itself between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A Continue Reading widget shows the page you left off on and takes you straight back to it. A Recent Documents widget lists what you have been reading. Spotlight and Shortcuts can find your documents by name. HIGHLIGHTS - Native Swift and SwiftUI app for iPhone and iPad. Not a web app. - Renders fully offline. Your documents never leave your device. - Opens Markdown in place from Files, and via the share sheet from other apps. - Read Aloud with follow-along highlighting and a speaking-rate control. - On-device summarize, ask, and explain, including diagrams. - Outline, find in page, and text zoom. - Light, Dark, and System themes. - The same app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Marko collects no data. It has no analytics, no accounts, and makes no network requests of its own. Free. Requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later.

About

Suyo

Features

Suyo puts a sleepy cat on your distracting apps. Open a blocked app and you won't see the feed. You'll see your cat, fast asleep on it. Disturb her at your own risk. Built on Apple's Screen Time, Suyo actually blocks apps at the system level. No willpower required, no fake timers you can swipe away. SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES Give Suyo Screen Time access and she shows your real top apps and daily average from day one. No guessing, just your own numbers. BLOCK APPS NOW Need a break? Pick your apps, pick 15, 25, 45 or 90 minutes, and hold the paw. Your cat naps on them immediately. Flip your phone into Clock mode for a full-screen countdown with a night sky or a sunny day, and get back to work. RULES THAT RUN THEMSELVES Set it once. Suyo handles the rest. • Blocked hours: same time every day, like 22:00–07:00 • Time limit: a daily budget, like 45 minutes of TikTok • Open limit: a few opens a day, like 10 opens Ɨ 5 minutes DO NOT DISTURB Turn it on and you can't wake her early. No unblock button, no "just five more minutes." The block holds until it ends. Use it on the nights you don't trust yourself. COLLECT PAWS Every nap earns paws. Finish a block, watch them land, and keep your streak alive. MAKE IT YOURS Pick your cat and the room she naps in. CAT BREAK INSTEAD OF DOOMSCROLL Blocked and itching to scroll? Watch a short cat clip instead. Sleepy kittens, a loaf in a sunbeam, a very serious box inspection. A fresh clip every day, then back to work. SEE THE TIME YOU GOT BACK • Time saved this week, day by day • Screen time daily average, from Apple's own numbers • Your streak and your best day Every time your cat stops you, the minutes land here. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Screen Time data never leaves your iPhone. Suyo can't see your messages, your browsing, or what's inside any app. Only which apps you picked and how long they stayed open. Turn access off anytime in iOS Settings. WHO IT'S FOR • Anyone who opens Instagram "for a second" and loses an hour • Students who need a phone-free study block • Parents who want their evenings back • People who tried every focus app and deleted them all ENGLISH AND JAPANESE Suyo speaks both. Switch languages inside the app, whatever your iPhone is set to. Most people spend 4–5 hours a day on their phone. Over a lifetime that's years. Suyo gives some of them back, one nap at a time.
