About

Unison

Sing over a backing track. Record an instrument. Build a song from your own beats and melodies. Unison brings it together in one local music project, with a focused workspace for recording and another for composing. RECORD YOUR PART • Import a backing track, choose what you hear and start recording. • Follow lyrics or sheet music while you perform. • Use a count-in and metronome, then retake just the section you want. • Stopping a recording adds it to your project automatically. BUILD YOUR SONG • Layer recordings, drum patterns and editable instrument parts. • Cut, copy, paste to a new track, move clips and repeat sections. • Organize sections and shape volume, pan and effects over time. • Edit drum hits, note pitches, timing and velocity. SHAPE YOUR SOUND • Add EQ, compression, reverb, delay and other effects to tracks or clips. • See your processing layers, compare the sound and disable or remove a layer. • Adjust pitch and timing with automatic tools or manual pitch editing. • Separate vocals and accompaniment in Materials before recording or arranging. FROM A HUM TO AN EDITABLE PART Turn a short melody or beatbox rhythm into an instrument or drum part. Preview it, edit the notes and choose what to add to your project. Optional local arrangement tools can extend an idea; results may need editing. KEEP YOUR WORK Export a WAV mix or a ZIP of separate tracks for sharing or further editing. No account or purchase is required. Projects and audio processing stay on your device. Optional audio resources download when needed and can be removed in Settings. Wired headphones are recommended for monitoring. Pitch, separation and alignment results depend on the recording; some processing tools support tracks up to 120 seconds. Word alignment requires compatible on-device speech recognition. Save an export of important work before deleting the app. Available in English, Chinese, Spanish, French and Japanese.
