Ring True

Strike a coin, hear the truth. Ring True estimates the silver content of ANY coin from the sound it makes β no per-coin database required. Real physics, not guesswork: a coin rings at frequencies set by its size and its metal's stiffness. Silver rings lower and dramatically longer than copper-nickel. Enter the coin's diameter and weight (or pick a preset - Morgans, pre-1965 US coinage, Silver Eagles, Maples, world crowns), balance it on a fingertip, tap its edge, and the app captures and analyzes the ring automatically. β’ Silver percentage estimate from the ring tone β’ Gold mode for goldβcopper coins like Gold Eagles and Krugerrands β’ Independent density cross-check flags clad, plated, and filled fakes β’ Ring sustain (Q) analysis - genuine silver rings for seconds β’ Automatic rejection of knocks, taps, and background noise β’ Size-class mode for coins you don't have exact specs for β’ Bonus magnetometer mode: instantly catch ferrous (iron/steel) fakes Everything runs on your phone. No account, no ads. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to send feedback on a result. Results are estimates for hobby use, not a professional assay.
Bluetooth Finder Quick
Read full descriptionHide full description
Bluetooth Finder Quick helps you scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices that are actively advertising. Choose a detected device and watch its changing relative signal strength as a clue while you search. Save a favorite for later and see when the same iOS device identifier was last detected. Features: - User-initiated foreground BLE scanning - Relative signal value and recent trend - Favorites and last-seen information stored on your iPhone - Clear states for signal loss, Bluetooth access, and Bluetooth availability - English and Japanese support Important limitations: Not every Bluetooth device advertises in a discoverable way. Signal strength changes with obstacles, orientation, interference, and device transmit power. It does not provide exact distance or direction. The app does not pair with devices or scan in the background. No account, usage analytics, advertising, or cloud sync is included. Scan information is not sent off your device. Crash reports are sent through Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs, and you can turn this off in Settings.
