Point your satellite dish with confidence—without needing to understand complicated satellite data. SatAlign turns direction, elevation, and LNB skew into calm, step-by-step instructions. Choose a satellite, follow the guidance, check your line of sight, then fine-tune using your receiver. WHY SATALIGN • KNOW WHEN TO TRUST THE DIRECTION SatAlign evaluates location, compass accuracy, heading stability, and device orientation before showing that your direction is aligned. • GET CLEAR, ACTIONABLE GUIDANCE Follow plain-language instructions such as “Turn left” and “Almost there” instead of deciphering a screen full of technical numbers. • SET ELEVATION WITH A VISUAL GUIDE See the calculated elevation angle alongside a simple dish illustration that shows what to adjust. • ROTATE THE LNB CORRECTLY Get a clear clockwise or counter-clockwise instruction, an illustration, and the correct viewing orientation. • CHECK THE LINE OF SIGHT Use the camera guide to see whether trees, buildings, or walls may obstruct the target direction. • FIND THE RIGHT SATELLITE FAST Search by satellite name, alias, or orbital position such as 19.2°E or 7°W. Keep favorites and quickly return to recent selections. HOW IT WORKS Choose the satellite you want to align. Follow the direction, elevation, and LNB skew guidance. Check for obstructions, then fine-tune with your receiver's signal-quality screen. BUILT FOR TRUST Metal dishes, poles, vehicles, electronics, and magnetic phone accessories can disturb a compass. When readings are unreliable, SatAlign explains what is happening and what to do next instead of pretending the direction is accurate. SatAlign calculates where a geostationary satellite should be relative to your location. A phone cannot detect the satellite's RF signal; always complete the final adjustment using your receiver or meter. No account required. The satellite catalog and preferences stay on your device. Make dish alignment simpler. Download SatAlign and follow one clear step at a time.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Satellite Finder at none against DishPointer Pro 2's 4. Satellite Finder also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
