ImViz
Read full descriptionHide full description
ImViz turns pictures of text into text you can actually use. Pick photos from your library, import PDFs or plain text files, and the app reads every page and hands you one clean result to copy or share. WHAT IT DOES โ Photos: select any number of images from your library โ PDFs: every page is read in order, text layer first โ Text files: imported as they are, no recognition needed โ Batch: a whole stack becomes a single result, in the order you picked โ Copy: one tap puts the full text on your clipboard โ Share: export the result as a text file to Files, Mail, Notes, or any app ON-DEVICE RECOGNITION Text recognition runs on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework. Nothing is uploaded, no account is required, and the app works with airplane mode on. Your documents never leave the device. FREE AND PRO The first 3 documents are free. ImViz Pro removes the limit with a single one-time purchase. No subscription, no recurring charge. PRIVACY ImViz uses the system photo and file pickers, so it only ever receives the items you choose. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. Requires iOS 18 or later.
BatchOCR

BatchOCR is free to download and turns a sequence of photos into editable text on your iPhone. Select multiple images in the order you want to process them. Review each image, adjust the OCR area when needed, and run on-device OCR with Apple Vision. Then edit, copy, view, or share the combined result. Highlights โข Select multiple photos in order โข Adjust the area to recognize for each image โข Recognize Japanese and English text on device โข Process images one at a time and cancel when needed โข Edit individual OCR results โข Copy or share a combined text result BatchOCR is supported by a small Google AdMob banner on the Home and OCR Results screens for users who have not purchased Remove Ads. The optional Remove Ads purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase; it permanently removes the in-app banner on the Apple Account that made the purchase. There is no subscription. Your selected images and recognized text are processed on the device and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. Google Mobile Ads and its consent-management component may process advertising, device, diagnostic, and consent information as described in the privacy policy. No account or login is required, and Firebase Analytics is not included. BatchOCR is designed for clear printed text. Accuracy depends on image quality, orientation, font, layout, and language. OCR results are not automatically saved after you reset or close the app.
