Ghost Spot vs Whooisthis

Ghost Spot helps you discover small, informal local businesses that traditional maps miss — street food carts, market stalls, pop-ups, home-based creators, mobile services and independent traders. DISCOVER WHAT IS NEARBY Open the map to find local stalls around you. Search by name, description or category, and set a distance radius from 1 km to 50 km. Results are sorted by distance, so the closest options are easiest to find. Location permission is optional — the map and listings still work if you decline. EXPLORE DETAILED LISTINGS Each stall can include a description, category, cover photo and gallery, a menu or service list with prices, weekly opening hours, an address label, approximate distance, and star ratings. CONTACT TRADERS DIRECTLY Ghost Spot does not process bookings, orders, deliveries or payments. When you find something interesting, message the trader on WhatsApp with a prefilled message. Any arrangement happens directly between you and the trader, outside the app. PUT YOUR BUSINESS ON THE MAP Create a listing in a few minutes: name, tagline, description, category, photos, products or services with prices, WhatsApp number, opening hours, address label and map location. It is free, with no commission. A valid location and WhatsApp number are required so customers can find and contact you. DROP TEMPORARY GHOST PINS Share short-lived local activity. Pick a spot on the map, add an icon and a short note, and publish it for people nearby. Ghost Pins disappear automatically after 24 hours. BROWSE BY CATEGORY Food, Drinks, Crafts, Fashion, Beauty, Services, Art, Plants and Other. OPENING HOURS, MENUS AND RATINGS See whether a trader is open today, browse the full week, view menu items and prices, and leave a star rating. Your ratings stay available from your profile. MANAGE YOUR PROFILE AND LISTINGS Edit your name, photo and bio, review your ratings, manage your stalls, read notifications, manage blocked users, and delete your account — all from your profile. COMMUNITY SAFETY Report a stall or a temporary pin, choose a reason and add details. Block a user to hide all of their content, and unblock them later from your profile. Reports go to our moderation team, who can remove content and suspend accounts. PRIVACY No advertising, no analytics and no cross-app tracking. Your live device location is used on your device to show nearby results and is not uploaded as personal location history. Information you add to a listing, including its location and public WhatsApp number, is visible to others by design. Full account deletion is available inside the app. IMPORTANT Ghost Spot is a directory and discovery platform. Listings, pins, prices, availability and ratings are submitted by users and are not verified, guaranteed or endorsed by Ghost Spot. We do not take part in transactions. Please confirm details with the trader before visiting or making arrangements. Find the local businesses that traditional maps miss.
