You are handed a pot of money and one ambition: build a football club that climbs from the bottom of a real European pyramid all the way to the top flight. FOUND YOUR CLUB Name it. Name its ground. Design its crest, then design its home, away and third kits. Pick one of seven nations — England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal or the Netherlands — and enter at the lowest fully professional division, where you face the real clubs that actually play there. THE PYRAMID IS REAL Every country's promotion and relegation rules are reproduced exactly as published, asymmetries and all: England's four-team play-offs, Germany's 16th-versus-3rd play-off, France's barrage, Italy's Serie B play-outs and 28-club Serie C bracket. Reserve sides hold their league position but can never be promoted — just as in the real game. THE CUPS TOO All seven national cups, each to its real format: who enters when, who hosts, one leg or two, extra time or straight to penalties. Your tie is played live or simulated; the rest of the competition plays out around you. Real prize money per round. PLAY THE MATCH, OR MANAGE IT Set your formation, mentality and tackling approach, and watch a projected scoreline respond to every change before you commit. Then resolve the match in one tap, or manage it live: a real-time clock, a speed bar, substitutions, and stoppage time that accrues while you are in the menus. Dithering on the touchline costs you, exactly as it should. A MATCH ENGINE TUNED TO REAL FOOTBALL The simulation is calibrated against seven seasons of real match data — not just the average scoreline, but the whole spread of results. And every league scores like itself: the Bundesliga outscores La Liga by the margin it really does, and a German second-division match genuinely outscores a Spanish first-division one. THE MONEY IS REAL TOO Each division carries real economics: broadcast deals, commercial income and gate receipts from your own stadium, set against wages, travel, matchday and admin costs. Wages eat a bigger share of turnover the further down you are, so the lower leagues structurally lose money and climbing genuinely matters. Losses draw on your personal fortune — and when that runs dry, the club is insolvent and the run is over. A SQUAD THAT LIVES Players age, grow toward their potential, and decline. Contracts run down and expire. Injuries, form and morale swing from week to week. Sign, sell and scout to hold a squad together, or watch your best player leave on a free because you were not paying attention. BUILD THE GROUND Capacity sets your gate, and it does not grow just because you were promoted. Commission an expansion at real construction costs and wait seasons for the seats to open. Add hospitality, sell the naming rights, upgrade the training facilities. Your stadium is drawn as a plan of the actual ground you have built, tier by tier. FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE THE DETAIL Real, current-season club lists. Real tiebreakers, resolved by each country's own rules. Fixtures built the way real leagues build them. Player nationalities, season scorer charts, form guides and a full fixture list. Plays offline, and a given save always replays the same way. Six tabs, one club, and a very long way up. UNLOCK THE FULL GAME Your first season is free to play. FC Architect Pro is a one-time purchase — not a subscription — that permanently unlocks unlimited seasons and every system. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase, and it restores on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Turn any road on Earth into a racetrack, then watch a full grid of 22 cars race it. GeoPrix is a racing simulator built on real streets. Draw a circuit on the map — your street, a mountain pass, a coastal road — or race a legend like Monaco, Baku, Macau or the Nordschleife. GeoPrix follows the real roads, measures every corner and how wide every street is, and simulates the whole race. DRAW ANY CIRCUIT • Snap to real roads, or draw your own line freehand, and mix both in one lap • Set how wide every road is, from 2 to 6 cars abreast, and split a street to size each half • Move the start line, or race the whole lap the other way round A RACE WEEKEND, NOT JUST A LAP • Optional qualifying: every car sets a flying lap, and the timing sheet sets the grid • 22 cars simulated from lights out to the flag: overtakes, battles, spins, retirements and safety cars • Pit stops on races of 20 laps or more, with real strategy: undercuts, covers and safety-car gambles • Driver aggression, from cautious to reckless • Follow any driver with the camera RUN A CHAMPIONSHIP • Build a calendar from your own circuits and the 19 built-in ones • Score every round with real points, plus one for the fastest lap • Drivers carry their form across the season, and every round keeps its result • Crown a champion and export the whole season as one reel SHARE THE RACE • Highlight reels from 1 to 3 minutes, framed for TikTok, Reels and Shorts • The full race, the fastest lap or the pole lap as its own video • Shoot any reel on the whole field or on one driver 19 LEGENDARY CIRCUITS Monaco, Baku, Macau, Marina Bay, Las Vegas, the Nordschleife, Le Mans, Bathurst, the Isle of Man and more, on their real streets. BUILD YOUR GRID Eleven teams and twenty-two drivers, all yours to rename and recolour. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER No sign-in, and GeoPrix never asks for your location. Circuits, championships and results live on your device. GeoPrix is free and supported by ads, with races up to 20 laps and championships up to 8 rounds. One optional purchase, GeoPrix Pro, removes every ad, unlocks full-race exports and lifts the limits: unlimited laps and championships of any length. Pay once, keep it for good.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: FC Architect at none against GeoPrix's shown. GeoPrix's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 2) and chart position (#159 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FC Architect sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and GeoPrix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for FC Architect against 4.9 for GeoPrix. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoPrix has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of FC Architect's written reviews are positive against 92% of GeoPrix's.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

FC Architect ships an update every 3 days, GeoPrix every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
