WaitStop is a voice journal for adults who want to think about their relationship with food, body, and self. You open the app and talk. Whatever is in your head that day, out loud, for as long as you need. Your speech is transcribed into text you can read and correct. Then WaitStop reflects back what you actually said, in your own words, and asks you one question. One. You can answer it out loud or close the app and come back tomorrow. Over weeks, it puts together recaps of what you have been recording, so you can see what you keep circling. HOW IT WORKS Press record and speak. Your entry is transcribed. You get a short reflection built from your own words, and a single question. Answer it or leave it. Weekly and monthly recaps gather what you have been saying over time. WHAT IS NOT IN HERE No calorie counting. No food logging. No weight tracking. No photos of meals. No streaks, no badges, no scores. No advice about what to eat or how to exercise. No notifications telling you that you have fallen behind. THE LIMITS, PLAINLY WaitStop is a general wellness journaling app for adults. It is not therapy, not treatment, not a medical device, and not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. It does not diagnose anything and it does not monitor you. Nobody at WaitStop reads your entries. If something in an entry suggests you are in serious distress, the app shows you crisis resources and stops there. It does not contact anyone on your behalf. PRIVACY Your entries belong to you. Audio is transcribed by a service configured not to retain it or use it for model training. You can delete your account and your entries at any time. SUBSCRIPTION Two-week free trial, then $12.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Cancel anytime in your iOS subscription settings. If your subscription lapses, you keep read access to everything you have already recorded.
