Other apps tell you when the sun rises. This one tells you whether you'll see it. Astrian Light knows the real terrain where you're going to shoot —the ridge, the building, the hill in front of you— and tells you when the sun actually clears it. Not when it rises on a flat horizon that doesn't exist. WHAT IT ANSWERS · When the good light starts at your spot, and when the terrain takes it away. · Where the sun rises and sets, right on the map. · How many hours of dark sky the Moon leaves you tonight, measured against your horizon. · When the Milky Way core rises, and which is the next moonless night. · What the eclipse will look like from where you'll be, when, and how long totality lasts. ECLIPSES, ALWAYS FREE On August 2, 2027, a total solar eclipse crosses Spain. The map of every eclipse, how much of the sun is covered from any point, the timeline to the second, and whether your horizon lets you see it. No subscription, now or ever. YOUR GEAR, BUILT IN Over 600 lenses and 230 cameras in the catalog; if yours isn't there, type it in. From then on, the ten calculators speak your gear: exposure without star trails, hyperfocal, depth of field, field of view, filters, timelapse. And "Your frame" shows how the shot will look in your camera before you go. THE SKY, RIGHT NOW Point your iPhone at the sky and augmented reality tells you what you're looking at: planets, constellations, the space station, deep sky. PLAN BEFORE YOU LEAVE Compare several destinations and several nights at once. Save plans with their place, their date and the gear you're taking. And bring the verdict with you: the calculations work without signal. YOUR WAY Buttons with symbol and name, or name only. Light and dark themes. Times in your iPhone's format. In English, Spanish and Portuguese, on iPhone and iPad. WHAT IT WON'T DO It doesn't make data up. When it doesn't know, it says so: if there's no measured terrain for your point, it tells you the figure is for a flat horizon. If the forecast doesn't reach, it won't invent one. SUBSCRIPTION Astrian Light is free for eclipses and for today's sky where you are. Everything else —any date, any place, the whole sky, all your gear— needs the yearly subscription. It renews until you cancel, and you cancel from your Apple account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Solander

Solander is a sun and moon planner for photographers. It works out what the sun, the moon and the dark will do at your spot — hour by hour, days ahead — so you know the light before you go, and whether tonight is worth going out. Drag the wheel along the bottom of the screen and the whole app retunes to that moment. Every screen answers in the same currency: hours of light you can actually use. SIX TABS, ONE QUESTION SKY — what the light is doing now, and how long you have left of it. The day's whole run of light — blue hour, sunrise, golden hour, sunset, true dark — measured to the minute. ASTRO — one number: how much genuinely dark, cloud-free sky tonight gives you. The ring draws the dark, the cloud and the moon as separate lanes, so you can see what is costing you the night. MAP — the sun's and the moon's paths for the day, drawn around your pin. Scrub back through the afternoon and the sight lines swing around with you. LIVE — hold the phone up and the paths land on whatever you're pointing at, for whatever time you've scrubbed to. Choose a composition in the afternoon, hours before the stars arrive. SHOOTS — save a shoot and it becomes a run sheet for the night. Group shoots into trips. Home Screen widgets carry the run of light, tonight's arc and the week; a Live Activity counts you into the dark. KIT — put your camera and lenses in the bag and the tools answer for them: star exposure before trailing, gap-free star-trail stacking, ND filter exposure, depth of field, time-lapse frames and storage. IT WILL TELL YOU NOT TO BOTHER A flat "not tonight" is worth more than an optimistic maybe. When the moon is up until three and the cloud sits at sixty percent, Solander says so — and shows exactly what it judged on. THE MATH NEVER LEAVES THE PHONE The astronomy is computed on your iPhone. No account, no sign-in, no Mirentha server. Your location is used on the device and goes only to Apple: to Apple Weather for the forecast, and to Apple Maps for the map and place search. The aurora watch reads NOAA's public feed without sending your position at all. WHAT IT COSTS Solander is one subscription, monthly or yearly, and either one opens the whole app. New subscribers get the first seven days free, enough to plan a real night with it before paying anything. The App Store shows the price in your own currency before you confirm. Terms of use: https://mirentha.com/apps/solander/terms/ Privacy policy: https://mirentha.com/apps/solander/privacy/ SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Solander Monthly — 1 month — the whole app, renewing every month Solander Yearly — 1 year — the whole app, renewing every year Both start with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
