About

Dugout

Dugout is a fast, private baseball and softball scorekeeper for iPhone. Score a routine play in three taps, get scorebook notation automatically, and keep every stat that matters. No account, no ads, no tracking. SCORE AT THE PACE OF THE GAME • Three-tap scoring for routine plays - built for a live game, not a spreadsheet. • Quick mode or full pitch-by-pitch, your choice. • Undo anything. Edit any play after the fact - the box score and line score recompute instantly. • Substitutions, courtesy runners, DP/Flex, re-entry, mercy rules, pitch limits - the rules engine warns, but you're always right. A REAL SCOREBOOK PAGE • Tap who fielded the ball and the play notates itself the way it's kept on paper: 6-3, F8, 4-6-3 DP, SAC 1-3, 3U. Skip it and scoring is exactly as fast as it was. • Errors read like a scorebook too - 6-E3 when a clean throw is muffed - and a caught stealing or pickoff records the fielders who made the play. • Every plate appearance is notated automatically from what you tapped, never hand-entered. • A printable PDF scorebook with the classic diamond grid: each batter's path around the bases, runs filled in, and totals for every inning and player. STATS THAT ADD UP • Clean box scores for every game. • Season totals for batting, pitching and fielding that recompute live. • Putouts, assists and errors credited to the player who made the play, from the fielders you tap - and they follow a player through a position change. • Advanced numbers when you want them: wOBA, OPS+, wRC+, FIP, BABIP, secondary average, and more - each with a plain-English explanation. • Spray charts on a full field, home runs plotted beyond the wall. SHARE IT • Post-worthy share cards: final score, box score, win probability, spray charts, and player stat lines. • Export a game as a PDF scorebook, or a game or a season as a CSV file - you choose where it goes. YOUR DATA, IN YOUR HANDS • Export a team - roster, seasons, and every game you have scored - to a single file you keep. Put it in Files, iCloud Drive, or anywhere else. • Import it back on a new phone or after a reinstall and everything comes home. • Free, not part of the subscription. Getting your own data out of an app should not cost anything. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No developer server, no analytics, and no trackers. We never see your data. • The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." • Your teams and games sync through your own private iCloud account, so they follow you to a new phone. Nothing is ever sent to us. • Works fully offline. No sign-in, no account. • The only servers involved are Apple's own: iCloud for your private sync, and the App Store for purchases. FREE TO START Dugout is free to download and score with. Dugout Pro, an optional subscription, unlocks the full stats suite, sabermetrics, spray charts, the complete share-card suite without the Dugout watermark, the PDF scorebook, and CSV export.
