Kingdom Steward is a household account book for Christians who want their money handled the way they believe — by hand, on purpose, with giving entered first. Learning how to live within God's Economy, instead of the secular economy, then passing that priceless blessing and knowledge to your children, and children's children. GIVE EVERY DOLLAR A NAME Record what arrived and divide it across envelopes you choose: First Fruits, Tithe, Charity, Seed, Investment, Living Expenses, or any category your household needs. The giving envelopes sit at the top of the ledger, because that is the order the money is meant to move in. The unassigned counter falls to zero and the month reads Balanced. GROSS OR TAKE-HOME — THE APP TAKES NO SIDE Every paycheck shows a tenth of gross AND a tenth of take-home. Your setting picks which one the split divides against. Christians disagree about this sincerely and at length; Kingdom Steward computes both and calls neither correct. THE JUST BALANCE The question this audience actually argues about: should the spare money go against the debt, or into an investment/savings? Enter what you could spare each month and the balance beam weighs both paths over the same horizon, with the same money leaving your account and both ending debt-free. You get the dollar difference, the interest saved, and which path ends ahead — with the assumption you set stated plainly. It is arithmetic, not advice. SEE THE MONTH BEFORE IT SURPRISES YOU An envelope that is running hot projects, its month-end, and the day it runs dry. Giving envelopes carry forward; living envelopes reset. An alignment score reflects how closely the month matched the plan YOU wrote — never a measure of faithfulness. LEARN THE MATH BEHIND THE MONEY A free library, always: the scriptures behind each envelope, and the arithmetic most of us were never taught — compound interest, amortization, the Rule of 72, real versus nominal returns. Every lesson has a live calculator driven by the same math as your own ledger. FOR THE TABLE, NOT A FEED A household report you can share as text, discussion prompts filled with your real figures, and give/invest/spend jars/envelopes for teaching children. Nothing is public. Nothing is shared with anyone. There is no bank connection — you keep the book yourself, which is the point. STEWARD+ (optional subscription) The whole budgeting spine, The Just Balance and the entire library are free forever, with no ads. Steward+ adds the steward's coach (grounded in your own figures, neutral on doctrine), years of trends, the giving-and-discipline comparison, the household report, Teach Mode and unlimited envelopes. - $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. Manage or cancel it any time in your App Store settings. Kingdom Steward provides educational tools and calculators, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Projections are illustrations built from assumptions you set, not predictions. DeskLedger is bookkeeping for people who never wanted to be bookkeepers. If QuickBooks feels like it was built for a company with staff, this is the opposite: a focused ledger for freelancers, Etsy sellers and solo owners who just need to know who owes them money and how much of it is really theirs. SEE WHERE YOU ACTUALLY STAND The dashboard tilts a balance scale by your real profit margin for the period, with income, expenses and the change since last month — no setup, no chart of accounts. KNOW WHAT YOU OWE BEFORE TAX SEASON Every transaction you file feeds a live cash-basis tax picture: year-to-date net profit, an estimated self-employment tax figure, your own set-aside target, and a countdown to the next quarterly deadline. FILE A MONTH OF EXPENSES IN ONE SITTING Anything uncategorized lands in the Sort Deck — one tap files each entry under a tax-form-aligned category. INVOICES THAT CLOSE THE LOOP Build an invoice with line items, tax and terms, share it as text, and track draft to sent to paid. Marking one paid books the income for you, so revenue is never double counted. The aging strip shows exactly where money is stuck. YOUR CLIENT BOOK, WITH MEMORY Each client shows twelve-month revenue, their share of your income, what's unpaid, and how many days they typically take to pay — plus a nudge when one has gone quiet. DESKLEDGER PRO (optional subscription) - Unlimited clients and projects - Receipt scanning that reads the text and keeps only the text — the photo is never stored - Drafted payment reminders and client check-ins - The subscription radar for recurring charges - The CSV accountant pack, ready for tax season Pro is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, after a 14-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription auto-renews at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe. Your books stay yours: your data is private to your account, you can export it, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. DeskLedger provides general bookkeeping tools and estimates. It is not tax, legal or financial advice — check anything important with a qualified professional.
