dailies is a habit tracker drawn by hand. It looks like a page out of a notebook, which is roughly what it is. Add a few habits. Tap a circle each day. The circle fills in and a number goes up. Nothing on screen is a stock shape. Every circle, tick and numeral is drawn at the moment you see it, so no two are quite alike. A STREAK THAT CAN BREAK Miss a day and the number goes back to zero. There is no freeze to buy and no grace day to spend. The app tells you plainly, and tells you that missing a day is allowed. A number you cannot lose is not worth counting. There are no points, levels or badges anywhere in the app. The only thing it counts is days. HABITS YOU WANT TO STOP A habit can run the other way. Mark the days you stayed off it and the mark is struck through rather than filled in, so a page of things you gave up reads differently from a page of things you did. WHAT IT DOES - Habits that run daily, on weekdays, on days you choose, or a set number of times a week - More than once a day, for the ones where once is not the habit - Six inks and a small drawing each, so a long list is still legible at a glance - Groups, for when the list gets long - A month at a glance, and a whole year behind each habit - Three ways to lay the page out, from a grid of marks to a plain list - Charts: how often you keep each habit, and which day of the week you keep it best - Your current run, your longest, and your total - Up to three reminders a habit, at times you set, which skip themselves when you have already ticked it - Your habits on the home screen, with a circle you can tap without opening the app - A picture of a run, ready to send to somebody - Days that turn over at 4am, so a late night costs you nothing - Night paper, for reading in the dark, whatever your phone is set to - Plain type, for when the handwriting is hard to read - Export of every habit and every day you marked, as plain text, and a way to read one back WHERE YOUR HABITS LIVE On your iPhone, and nowhere else. There are no accounts and no sign-in. We hold no copy of what you write and no way to get one, and nothing is tracked across other apps or websites. The app makes one network request, to check whether your subscription is active. FREE AND PLUS Free keeps two habits, the current month, one reminder each, and export. Plus adds as many habits as you keep, every month you have ever marked, your longest run and your total, the charts, the widget, the other layouts, groups, a picture to share, three reminders a habit, and reading a backup back in. It comes monthly, yearly, or bought once and kept for good. Neither version carries advertising.
