A circle of students abroad. ALA is a members-only community for international students. Not for meeting people — you already have friends. For the plans you'd never have found on your own, with people worth finding. HOW IT WORKS Apply. If you're accepted, you're in. Members post plans on the map — a dinner, a padel game, a night out, a weekend away — with a set number of open spots. See something you like, request to join. The host decides who's in. ALA FRIENDS The map. Plans posted by members, shown as pins across the city. Host your own or join someone else's. Message the host before you commit; once you're in, the group chat opens. ALA INTRODUCTIONS A quieter side of the circle. A small, curated set of members each day — in your city or in another one. Meet the student in Milan you'd otherwise never cross paths with. Optional, and members only. 18+. WHO IT'S FOR International students, exchange and Erasmus students, anyone who moved abroad to study and wants their city to give them more. Now in London. Milan, Amsterdam, Madrid and Paris to follow. MEMBERSHIP ALA is a paid, invite-only membership. Applications are reviewed individually. Founding members receive a numbered card.
